Brian Campolattaro's Online Review Report Card

It has been a month and a half and I have yet to receive a call back or email from Dr. Campolattaro and his staff, as promised. My two year old was acting like a 2 year old at her exam so I asked the Dr. to either call me back or email me with her diagnosis and his recommendation plan and he agreed. After not hearing back for 2 weeks, I called the office and his staff told me they would relay my message. I have been calling weekly and his staff tells me the same thing, that they will relay my message. Additionally, I have left 3 voicemails directly with Dr. Campolattaro. This is extremely unprofessional and upsetting to say the least.

Dr. Campolattaro is an extremely accomplished doctor and surgeon, but more importantly Dr. Campolattaro is an amazing person and human being. He cares about his patients and takes the time to listen to their concerns and provide them all the information they need. I am grateful for the two surgeries Dr. Campolattaro performed on me and I can say with confidence you will find no better surgeon anywhere in New York.

Going anywhere else is a waste of time. I saw a local pediatric ophthalmologist in my area (Staten Island) for my daughter and I was left with more questions. Upon a friends recommendation, I decided to meet with Dr Campolattaro. WOW what a difference! He was phenomenal and I wish I could use him for all aspects of my Childs healthcare. He was kind and quick, yet still managed to thoroughly examine and explain everything so that we could fully understand the situation. All my questions were answered before I even asked them and we left feeling relieved and at peace with the plan of action. My child still cried but it was so quick that it was over before she even knew what was happening. I cant say enough nice things about him and the rest of the staff. Such a wonderful office. Book an early appointment to avoid a wait. I was there at 7 am and didn't wait for more than 10 minutes. It was great. I love them ALL.

Dr. Campolattaro literally changed my life. As a child, I was debilitated with a severe case of Duane Syndrome. Thanks to three intensive corrective operations by him, I can now effectively read, learn, and drive without seeing double, experiencing eye strain, or needing extensive accommodations. People who have known me for years have honestly shared that they have never noticed my Duane Syndrome. In addition to my operations, Dr. Campolattaro helped teach me practical skills to avoid my eyes crossing which I still use today. I have not needed to see him for several years thanks to his good work then, but based on how severe my case is and how minimal of an impact it has on me today, I will forever endorse him and feel compelled to write a review. My mom and I call him an angel on earth due to the difference his care has made in our lives. Thank you, Dr. Campolattaro!

Incredible experience. He fixed my lifelong strabismus issues, which had impacted my output increasingly in our digitally focused world. If you schedule a 7 am appointment, you won’t wait long. But this master surgeon is worth the wait. I’m so grateful for his expertise, talent and professionalism. (His assistant was great as well, as well as the team that organized my appointment, getting me off the waitlist for an earlier procedure date. )

Dr. Campolattaro did my eight year old daughters straumbis surgery in March. He was very attentive and listened to HER and I during the process of testing, appointments and then surgery. She and I both had an EXCELLENT experience with him and the staff at the hospital.

The visit is totally worth it. He is kind and has so much patience with the kids. Mine need so much help and Dr was so nice. Loved it
