Dr Landzberg came highly recommended. I was not his usual patient but was looking for a second opinion to help me determine if I needed a colectomy surgery. I appreciated how swiftly he fit me in for this consultation as my nerves were shot. He was direct and honest with his evaluation and although it was not the news I wanted to hear - it was important that I had his experience to guide me in making this tough decision. Dr. Landzberg is absolutely wonderful! For years I was running around getting improperly diagnosed and had every test in the book. Dr. Landzberg was the only Doctor that properly diagnosed my condition. He helped bring my bring my life back to normal and for that I am eternally grateful. I cannot recommend Dr. Landzberg enough. I'd been dealing with vomiting nonstop for the last 9 months and went to 3 different doctors, none of whom actually listened to what I was saying or seemed to care. Dr. Landzberg was the first doctor to run the proper tests to diagnose my issue, and expressed sympathy for my condition. He is very knowledgable and kind. Would recommend him to any patient.

Conflict of interest - be careful! He performs endoscopies and colonoscopies at an out- patient facility that he is part owner of. Subsequently, the reports generated from those procedures are produced by a lab on the same floor as his private office. I had the slides from my procedure pulled and analyzed by a hospital pathology dept and they were normal. He treated me for ulcers!

After being treated by him for ulcers I pulled the slides and had them read by the pathology dept at a local hospital - result? Perfectly normal!

I spent several years bouncing around between specialists unable to diagnose my unique issue, which was causing a drastic decline in my quality of life. Dr. Landzberg was the first who considered several body systems in relation to each other to come up with a comprehensive treatment plan. He is thorough, thoughtful, honest, and despite having a busy calendar, has always spent significant time with me during each visit. He takes hand-written notes to ensure records are properly tailored to each patient, and follows up. If you are having GI issues, or something unclear but adjacent to a GI issue, go to Dr. Landzberg.
