List of Brill Physical Therapy's Reviews
Peggy is the absolute BEST person I have ever worked with for a physical injury. I first saw Peggy over ten years ago for a shoulder / neck injury, and when I injured myself running this past year I knew I had to see her again. Peggy takes extra special care of every one of her clients, and I've found her assessments to always be spot on, and she always gets to the root of the issue. At this point, there is no one I trust more than Peggy to help me with an injury. Do yourself a service and go see her!
Peggy Brill is amazing! I came to her hobbled on bad knees and the plan she designed for me ultimately worked to improve my physical health in more ways than I could have even imagined. Peggy understands how bodies work and how to improve them and she's excellent at getting results. I would 100% recommend her for anyone's PT needs.
In May, I ruined my back playing 9 rounds of golf over 7 days in Scotland. Thought my issues were all soft tissue, so simply stopped playing. Got progressively worse. No golf in June or July. Finally realized I had to get serious, so got back in touch with Peggy after a half dozen years absence (Peggy had saved me a couple decades ago, when--again though too much golf--I had killed the sciatic nerves in both my legs). Our first session was by Zoom. Peggy had me touch my toes, then bend backward, walk on my toes, walk on my heals, stand on one leg. Then, she gave me 5 exercises, which I performed religiously three times a day for three weeks. During two of those weeks, I traveled the 3 hours each way to come into NY to see Peggy in her office. By the end of week 3, I tried to swing and hit balls. That Sunday was the deadline to sign up for my club championship the following weekend. I thought maybe I could compete. A week more of Peggy's drills three times a day, plus one more office visit. I ended up winning the three-day match-play elimination tournament. Everyone was amazed. I was amazed. Shouldn't have been: Peggy is amazing!!!
I’ve seen Peggy Brill for two things now — a spine issue and an ankle issue. She is a miracle worker. Really knows her stuff. She helped me avoid surgery on my spine, and diagnosed the ankle issue when my podiatrist could not.
Peggy is the best!
Peggy Brill is the best! I've worked with her for more than 20 years for a variety of ailments. What is great about her is that she doesn't just have you do rote exercises. She gets to the heart of the problem and tailors treatment to fix it. She has determined the cause of my aches and pains when doctors could not. She has also worked with most of my family and a half dozen people from work and they all rave. She is a miracle worker!
Peggy is a miracle worker! I came to her with sciatica in real pain and 3 sessions later I feel great. My husband has sworn by Peggy for 20 years and now I understand why.
Peggy Brill is a phenomenal Physical Therapist and caring health provider. On September 1st I dislocated my left shoulder in a bike accident on Randall's Island. While in the emergency room Peggy assisted the staff via the phone in resetting my arm back into place. Upon reviewing my MRI she was able to provide me relief and a therapy schedule for me in conjunction with treatment to heal myself avoiding a surgery. It's 5 months from the accident and I am back in the gym continuing to follow my daily physical therapy plan. The intensity of Peggy's prescribed treatment plan gradually became more challenging enabling me to remove the sling after 90 days :). This is not my first rodeo with Peggy. In 1990 after surviving a 300' rock climbing fall in North Conway NH Peggy was there for me re-teaching me how to walk and sit. Peggy has unparalleled knowledge of how the body can heal itself with the appropriate treatment and care. I am grateful for her care and skill and feel fortunate that this PT angel came into my life... Philip Tanen
Peggy Brill’s unique combination of unparalleled human anatomy and physiology, coupled with innate compassion and sensitivity, has truly wrought miracles in my physical transformation! Thanks to Peggy, I am, lifting 165 pounds in a pelvic thrust!
I started seeing Peggy at 2 weeks postpartum for pelvic pain and diastasis recti. A couple months later, my pelvic pain is gone and she has me working through a program that has and will continue to close my diastasis recti by the expected timeline for postpartum recovery. I looked forward to my sessions with her; she wanted to hear detailed updates on how I was feeling overall and specific to what we were working on. She was encouraging and motivating, and she challenged me in a way that showed she truly cared! At the same time, she worked with my 2 month old to address his favoring of one side of his head. She was knowledgeable about helping him, and most importantly, gentle and kind with him! Highly recommend Peggy to anyone looking for a physical therapist!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
