There are no words to describe the level of professionalism, care and most important, humanity that I have experienced from this team! I live in Miami and my mother in NYC, she is a patient at this institution and suffers a rare and complicated syndrome. Late last night (Friday) I was very concern, since she was not feeling well, been so far apart from her make situations like this very difficult and worrisome. I called with the intention of leaving a message for Dr. Christina Ulane, my mom’s physician. However, a very nice lady answered my call and explained that a doctor on call would call me back. In fact they did, after explaining the issues, the doctor gave me reassurance that a message to Dr. Ulane was on the way. Since it was late on a Friday, I expected an answer by Monday. Amazingly and to my surprise, a few minutes short of 10 P.M, I received a call from Dr. Ulane, to resume, this morning (Saturday) the medication was ready at the pharmacy. Thank you! Dr. Christina Ulane is a class act, knowledgeable, dedicated and compassionate professional! My most sincere gratitude to her and the staff!

The first Tele consultation was OK, she spent a good amount of time with me and answered my questions. However, after the test results were back, she sent me an email with the results and totally disappeared. No diagnostic, no orientation on how to proceed, nothing at all. I messaged her twice at the NYP Connect app, asking how I should proceed, if I should discard neurological isseus as the cause of my symptoms, if I should make a new appointment with her... she never responded. I called twice, left 2 messages with the assistant, she never answered my calls. Will have to look for a new doctor.

Dr. Ulane has treated me for a neurological condition for the past two years. Dr. Ulane is very thorough, very knowledgeable, experienced and caring. Dr. Ulane is also very friendly, courteous. Dr. Ulane goes above and beyond to insure symptoms are properly diagnosed and the proper treatment is directed. Thank you Dr. Ulane.

Wonderful at the office visits, although students do the tests, not she. Spends time and is very caring, but once you leave it's almost impossible to discuss anything with her on the phone. She will always have one of her Fellows call and sometimes things get lost in the translation. The follow-up, in my opinion is a big downfall.
