I continue to be impressed with Dr. B. One of the main things I like about him is that he always asks me how I’m doing from a psychological perspective first. You don’t see that very often in the in our healthcare system.

I was very lucky to have been referred to Dr. Barbieri by y another Urologist. In my case my PSA levels were climbing and he ordered an MRI and performed a fusion biopsy in 2018 which confirmed a slow growing cancer. A subsequent biopsy in 2022 showed that it had spread and therefore I decided based on his recommendation to remove the prostate. I was very fortunate that he was willing to do the surgery based on my age 76. The first 2 months after surgery were challenging but since the followup PSA test = 0.02 confirmed that the cancer did not spread outside the prostate, the healing process is going well. I have full bladder control but need to recover my strength. The effects of Sarcopenia in Seniors is rapid but you must wait at least 2 months after surgery to give the body a chance to heal. Dr. Barbieri is very lucky to have a terrific support team. They are smart, hard working and caring.

A sane, organized, and well run office. Dr. Barbieri’s PA was very nice and efficient and Dr. Barbieri himself was excellent. He listened attentively and sympathetically as we discussed my case history and then explained how things looked to him and what he thought the course of action going forward should be. This is 100% what I wanted after 2 years of a cold, impersonal and disfunctional urology office here in NJ. He’s a 45-60 minute drive from where I live, but was absolutely worth it

Dr. Barbieri was extremely informative very professional and. I believe gave me the best advice of all. He didn't push his specialty actually he advised against surgery in my case. I'm very happy I did a consultation with him.

Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Listens to patient. My urologist since 2016. Correctly and quickly diagnosed my condition the first time he clinically examined me. Incidentally, two other urologists were unable to properly diagnose my condition over the span of two years.
