List of Christopher Irobunda's Reviews
Dr. Christopher Irobunda, MD Interventional Cardiology Absolutely absorbed with delusions of grandeur. Zero communication skills. Cardiology is way too important to put into the hands of a doctor who believes it's all about himself and is thoroughly condescending toward his patients! Please find another cardiologist. It's a matter of life and death! Submitted Jan 30, 2023
Professional, Timely, exceptionally knowledgeable, great since of humor.
Awful as usual. At this point,I have to leave a review. He has zero table manners, extremely arrogant, and lacks empathy. Specific to this last visit, he spent the 5 minutes during the zoom call scolding my husband who called with a concern on his blood pressure, he ended the visit with “what do you want me to?”. We called back to get a referral so he can see someone nearby in person, one week and still waiting, stillI just got a bill for $660.

Awful as usual. At this point,I have to leave a review. He has zero bedside manners, extremely arrogant, and lacks empathy. Excellent. I am very happy to be his patient. He is trustworthy, honest, well spoken and one of the greatest doctors that I have ever had. I would recommend Dr. Irobunda to anyone looking for a top notch cardiologist.
Dr. Irobunda has always stood out in my memory as a caring, warm cardiologist with fabulous bedside manner. When he cared for my dad back in 2005, my father was 93, and diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm. Without true cardiac disease and quite elderly, Dr. Irobunda made the right call not to do invasive surgery despite the fact that my dad was an excellent candidate, with with no debilitating diseases of old age and surprisingly not even on any medications. He was convinced that this condition would not take my dad’s life, and ultimately it did not. During each visit, Dr. Irobunda would dance around the examination room with my father, hug him, and remind him that at his age, there were no studies with which to compare him. He talked and listened and gave my dad his time and most importantly, his encouragement and kindness. One day, Dr. Irobunda even spent time with me, investigating the potential connection between my migraines and auras and a condition called Patent Foramen Ovale. He showed me the hole in my heart, and guided me about future implications and care- and I was not even his patient. In reflecting back on Dr. Irobunda, I would recommend him with highest accolades. He even took the time to write a note of sympathy when my dad passed away shy of 100, and not of that aortic aneurysm, as the doctor has predicted with impressive accuracy.
Compassionate and caring
On behalf of my Mother: I am a patient at NYP and was referred by my Hematologist because of concerns he had during a few office visits. I can't thank him enough for that referral because Dr. Irobunda is a PHENOMENAL doctor and a good man. I owe them both my life. It takes a doctor like Dr. Irobunda who looks beyond the obvious to get to the real issues. Who knew that a pre-existing small problem was hiding a major cardiac issue. Dr. Irobunda is also a practitioner who truly cares for and about his patients. That's a rarity in today's changing health setting. Perhaps the best recommendation is from my daughter who has met him. She said that if she ever needs a cardiologist, she wants Dr. Irobunda on her team! Only the best will do!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
