Dr. Wong's office is very busy. Given the nature of this specialist and the procedures offered, it's not unusual to wait for over 3 hours for a colonoscopy from start to finish. You must come with an escort for said procedure, and ideally, your escort would be patient enough to wait. Their waiting area is very small for the amount of patients that come in and out; 19 chairs next to one another with 3-4 out of commission for social distancing (except none of the patients care to read the signs and social distancing is not enforced). East facing windows in the waiting area make the space super warm during the day. Crowding in the waiting area is expected at most times. The front desk staff speak mainly Mandarin and Fuzhounese, but can also accommodate Cantonese and English. They try their best to receive all the patients timely, but the schedule flow is slow and congested. Dr. Wong is the only doctor here, his schedule looks overbooked. Overall a functional office, come with patience, and basic expectations.

Doctor Wong helped me do a screening for my gastritis and everything was taken care of smoothly. There was no pain with this process. Very good and quick customer service!

Worst experience / Unprofessional. My mother called to make an appointment they informed her to bring her insurance card with an ID in the day of the appointment.Once we get in the waiting area there was wait a long wait nearly an hour to verify her insurance which should have done prior to the appointment. They charge her a $150 (co pay) JUST for the DR to say IF YOU DONT HAVE THE COVID SHOT I CANT CHECK ON YOU TODAY. He was in the room for less then 2 minutes. I do not understand why not inform patients about this type of policy prior to the appointment. She was in pain and took a train/bus to come here we live in New Jersey. They should have informed us over the phone what the policy was. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Could not get past receptionist. Am new patient to Medicare, said I have to pay her 116 dollars cause GHI won't cover it. Would not accept hubby card, too old. I am not a new patient to Dr. Wong, I like him but could not get past her to see him. Contacted my doctor for new specialist, sorry to let him go, he was also so thorough.
