List of Claire S. Riley's Reviews
i have been a patient for a bit over 3 years. her diligence reviewing years of brain MRI's led to a great treatment plan and successful management of my chronic condition. never rushed, she is thorough.
I've been seeing Dr. Riley for 4 years and she is an excellent physician with great expertise. She listens to the patient and tailors care based on their needs. Very nice, caring and knowledgeable.
I have been a patient of Dr Riley's for 4+ years for treatment of Primary Progressive MS and have found her care to be exceptional. Dr Riley has empathetic and sympathetic qualities, patience, and simple TLC consistantly above that of an average person. She brings "something extra" into her care. Of her medical knowledge I am completely confident. I believe the first 3 questions are irrelevant to actual medical issues. As with most busy offices, patience is a virtue when a phone is involved.
Brilliant. Very Knowledgeable about, and creative with, Meds. Doesn't consider the "whole person." Can be brusque at times. More clinical than personable.
Probably the worst doc in NYC she think she knows it all
Always explains results, options, and the attack plan. So happy to be in her care!
The doctor was so wonderful to call me personally at 4:30 pm on a Friday afternoon and arrange for a nurse practitioner to come to my home and provide me an immediate 3 day IV treatment. I've worked the last 20+ yrs of my life in healthcare so I can tell you that this is a talented brilliant doc to have on your team.
Dr. Riley is the BEST doctor I have seen since being diagnosed with MS in 2004. She is everything you want in a doctor. I love her. She does not leave the exam room without discussing everything with you. If you need an hour - she'll give you the hour. Of course she has nurse practitioners that you talk to but she is right there with her medical opinion and explains her reasoning! She doesn't just say "we're going to do this" without explaining why. After years and years with different doctors I have finally found THE ONE!
I saw Dr. Riley for a second opinion for my tingling symptoms in arms and legs. 1st MD was unable to come up with an explanation secondary to negative head and cspine mri, neg spinal tap and other tests. Was told to come again in a year. At my 1st visit, was given a very thorough exam, and above MRIs as well as a thoracic was ordered. As it turned out, she did spot a demyelinating lesion in my thoracic cord. Was started on a medicine that is critical in limiting future areas. Without her expertise, it is very possible I would have developed more areas and damage. She responds to all my concerns. She will return calls and emails. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs an MS specialist or related disorders.
During my first visit I the patient had to suggest the medicine she was going to start me on coverstation was brief spoke more to the assistant then doctor. Waited around just to follow up with other doctors per dr riley request and whenever her assistant would call me back after leaving message I informed them each time about the follow up and repeatly was asked what medicine I was on. I had to ask if they even looked at the notes they never knew the dates or time when I had appointments and when asked if doctor would call me back they said she was to busy. One medicine Doctor gave me I had allergic reaction to after assistant told me to stop taking it I never received a replacement medicine just stayed in pain. I wouldnt recommend anyone going to this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
