Dr. Chen promises you the world and delivers nothing. Don not be drawn into her kind demeanor as she is heartless, lacks compassion and couldn't care less about her patients. She makes horrible mistakes and just moves on. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone!

Chen herself seems great, BUT, and this is a very big but: her office is a mess. She seems like a good surgeon, and I personally like her. But her front office is a disaster, particularly Andrea. I'm surprised by the good reviews on here. I could never reach her and had to follow up repeatedly for even basic information. This caused me a lot of extra and very undue stress when I should have been able to focus on healing. If she replaced Andrea, I would have had a different experience entirely and would give this more stars. But for that alone, 1 star as it made everything so aversive and negative.

Dr. Chen and her staff are amazing! Dr. Chen gave me options that were not available to me from my local surgeons. She not only gave me a beautiful physical result, but she also took the time to reconnect nerves so that sensation is not completely lost and is coming back ever so slowly (unlike many of my peers with implants who have no feeling whatsoever). She and her staff truly care about the patients and I never feel rushed. Dr. Chen is a phenomenal breast reconstruction surgeon who has a heart of gold. I am so pleased with my results. Thank you!

I was a patient of Dr Chen’s in 2013. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2013 I researched multiple options. After meeting Andrea and Dr Chen after Labor Day, I realized this was a perfect fit for me! I had my surgery two weeks later!! I live in Florida and Andrea organized tests and visits to allow me as little travel as possible.Last year I attended the FORCE Conference in San Diego. We drew a lot of attention with our Walk the Runway event: patients of Dr Chen’s showing how proud we are of our Post Mastectomies by Dr Chen!! Our love for her and her work made the room electric!!

I had the great fortune of discovering THE BEST breast reconstruction specialist with a gigantic heart of gold 3 years ago. Dr. Constance M. Chen is highly sought after, and she is deserving of all of her acclaim. During our initial consultation, I saw right away why she was so glowingly recommended. She spent as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions, and I had MANY! Literally, I think it was nearly 90 minutes for our discussion and examination. I connected with her right from the start.The results are pretty amazing, and I don't mind saying so! :)My husband and I have been in and out of Drs offices for the past 14 years w/various serious medical issues, and we have never met a more diligent team of caring professionals. We always feel respected and our every request or concern is addressed promptly.Recently, we were reminded that they will go above and beyond when I had an emergency situation. Dr Chen and her entire team are top-notch. I use them as my gold standard to compare my expectations every time I meet a new Doctor.I would not hesitate to refer Dr Chen and her team to my very best friend.

Dr. Chen is an amazing surgeon who is both brilliant and kind. She is one of the top breast reconstructive surgeons and was able to do what no other surgeon could do for me. Her staff is fabulous and knowledgeable as well as extremely caring. Andrea is so attentive to detail and makes what is a very emotional and stressful situation as comfortable as possible. Choosing this practice is a must!

Dr. Chen was very professional and did accommodate me in an appointment mix-up. My experience with the doctor's office, mainly her surgical coordinator, was the deciding factor not to use this practice for my procedure. Andrea lacked follow through, which caused multiple delays in trying to schedule my procedure and actually get it done. She only returned 1 of my multiple phone calls, took over a month to contact my insurance company, for examples. I ended up going with my 2nd choice for a consultation (which is free-I paid $350 to Dr. Chen). Hopefully it will be a better fit.

Dr. Chen gave my daughter breasts where she had textured implants and she feels 200% better. I love dr. Chen and will forever be grateful that she came into my daughter’s life.

Choosing Dr. Chen was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She is brilliant, talented, and kind. Her staff is equally caring, friendly and always helpful.During my three-hour consultation with Dr. Chen, her manner was compassionate and enthusiastic. She was informative and open about available options and realistic outcomes.After deciding on a course of action, reconstruction revision of right breast mastectomy with implant reconstruction from 2006, and left breast mastectomy using PAP flap reconstruction, I met with the Practice Manager, Andrea, who was invaluable in coordinating and scheduling pre-op appointments and handling insurance issues. Her knowledge and demeanor alleviated my anxiety so that I was able to concentrate on personal issues before surgery and healing after surgery. Both Andrea and Dr. Chen were available whenever I had a question or concern and they still are, more than a year later.My results are beyond my expectations. I’m back to my 34B natural feeling breasts of my 20’s and I am once again comfortable in my own body. I am forever grateful to Dr. Chen and her wonderful team. If I’d found her sooner, I could have avoided years of physical and emotional discomfort and heartache. Anyone who is in need of breast reconstruction, or even just opting for cosmetic surgery, would be doing themselves a great service by choosing Dr. Chen’s practice.
