List of Corrina M. Oxford-Horrey's Reviews
Dr. Oxford is the creme de la creme of OBs/GYNs. Many new moms in NYC want the best and in mom circles, you are quickly directed to 2-3 hospitals. Weill Cornell is in that set. However, not all providers are created equally. Dr. Oxford came into my deliver room (after I hadn't had the best experience with other WC providers) and started by READING MY BIRTH PLAN. She went LINE BY LINE and read it aloud with me. This is the relationship patients want with their doctors -- one where they are clearly heard. She is top-notch. She encouraged the floor of nurses and resident physicians to allow me as natural a birth as possible and *encouraged* the team to let me try a balloon catheter and nipple simulation before induction (pitocin). While some OBs and nurses literally *eye-rolled* at my plan... Dr. Oxford knew they were my strong preference and listened. I will literally try to have Dr. Oxford deliver any future children I may have and encourage friends (especially women of color who may be high-risk) to seek out Dr. Oxford (or Dr. Riley) as well. Brava Dr. Oxford -- you've got one happy mama in your corner!
Dr. Oxford is very knowledgeable however her office staff needs retraining. Multiple errors, complaining about other patients in your presence and very rude.
I saw Dr. Oxford a few times on rounds while I was hospitalized for threatened preterm labor with twins and she had the best bedside manner. Her frank (yet calm and reassuring) way of communicating allowed me to relax even when anxieties were high. She answered many of my neurotic questions, often multiple times, and her physical exams were calm and efficient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
