Losing a loved one to the ravages of dementia is awful. Coterie makes the best out of a terrible situation. I am thankful for the outstanding level of care they provide to Residents on the 5th Floor Memory Care unit. Their compassion, kindness, and patience are superlative. They keep the place immaculate. They put a lot of thought and resources into engaging the Residents with a multitude of structured activities, including supervised field trips off-premises to NYC cultural institutions such as MoMA and the Met. Special kudos to Amanda, the Director, whose passion and dedication to the well-being of both the Residents and their caretakers is frankly amazing. If I were so unfortunate as to have dementia, this is where I would want to reside and be taken care of.

Great place for my dad. He's been living there about a year now and his apartment is beautiful and he's grown attached to the caregivers and made friends with the staff and residents there. The location is fabulous as are the common areas and there is a doctor there on site every week. Special shoutouts to Joanna and Gifty, Lorie and Amanda, and the rest of the staff. Thanks for providing a warm and nurturing environment.

The Coterie Hudson Yards community is an incredibly special one, from the outstanding staff to the beautiful common spaces. It's truly the gold standard of senior living in NYC. Special shout out to Director Amanda Clears for ensuring that as soon as Coterie officially opened their doors in 2023, residents were greeted with an unrivaled level of professionalism, dedication, and "above-and-beyond-ness"! It's been a pleasure to see the community flourish over the past year and I can't wait to see what the future has in store.

Our mom is about a month into her new home at the Coterie, and we could not be more appreciative of the tremendous care she’s been receiving. Every member of the 5th floor memory care staff has been wonderful, and the director Amanda Clears has been a godsend. She’s bright, positive and compassionate, and her warm heart and good spirit have made this move wonderful for our mom and our entire family.

Joanna Mansfield leads a seasoned, dedicated and educated staff of professionals who all go above and beyond for their residents and families and the community beyond their walls. Their residents with cognitive decline that reside in Coterie’s secure neighborhood have access to meaningful personalized engagement opportunities. Amanda clears is the head of my sister’s memory team. She keeps me informed everyday with email and pictures of my sister at activities. It is incredibly reassuring to know that Amanda is watching out for my beloved sister
