Dr. Leifer is truly an expert in his field! He’s intelligent, caring and always has the patients best interest in mind. He is very thorough and doesn’t rush you. He listens and explains everything clearly. He is truly my life saver!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Leifer since 2006 when I had a stroke on Long Island. My family rushed my records to him and I was immediately transferred to Weill Cornell under Dr. Leifer’s care. Dr Leifer is a superb, and very dedicated, and extremely knowledgeable Neurologist.I have had the great pleasure of having him as my physician for 5 years now, and I am thrilled to be his patient.Dr.Leifer listens carefully, takes all the time you need, he's very thorough, carefully reviews all blood results and other exam results you bring in for his due diligence, and does the necessary follow up as to Neurology.He is always very pleasant with a warm, and sincere smile, and demeanor.If anyone reading this needs the very best in the field of Neurology and at Cornell Presbyterian one of the best hospitals in the city if not in the world then you should go to Dr.Leifer for his excellent care,extremely highly recommended by me and for very good reason.Thank you Dr.Leifer for everything you do! Unfortunately, the poor reviews are accurate. We waited 3 months to see this doctor. Spent a long time in the waiting room on the day of, and when we finally saw him, he hadn't read over any notes about my husband's reason for being there. He told us inaccurate information about his prior MRIs that I had to correct. I am not a doctor, it was embarrassing. We had a virtual follow up appt. that was canceled by him/his office withOUT letting us know. There are better doctors out there. Please save your time and energy and find a neurologist who can be bothered to do their job!

I cannot thank Dr. Dana Leifer enough. It is evident, through his compassionate and knowledgeable actions that he truly loves his profession, and has a deep care for his patients; I feel fortunate to be under his guidance. Thank you, Dr. Leifer for being there for me, and for all you have done on my behalf.
