Good doctor, excellent communication, quick, painless and a fair price. Highly recommended and will visit again. Thanks!
Dr. Danny Fong is a very good Doctor! I would recommend him to everyone!
I want to thank Dr. Fong and his staff for their prompt and professional help in removing a Lipoma that I have had for a while. After going through 5 Dr.s he was able to address my concerns and help raise my confidence. Staff was friendly and offices were super clean, spacious and welcoming.
I have gone to Dr. Fong for lipoma removal probably about 5 or 6 times now. He is incredible. I always tell people, "hands of an angel." He is fast, friendly, and knowledgeable, and probably most importantly, his incisions leave almost no scarring. He is excellent to work with and I would recommend his office to anyone. Thank you Dr. Fong!
I went today for a removal of facial moles. Dr. Fong was very polite and nice, he removed all three of the moles I had on my face for the price of two. His moves on my skin were gentle and careful. I asked to see the removed moles and I was amazed to see the excess skin perfectly cut like a pointy oval diamond. He is an artist, I'm very happy I trusted him with my face. He even humored a couple of times and I was laughing so much I thought I would damage the procedure or the outcome. I was referred to by the job I saw on the face of a friend, very good job, without any visible scar. I also liked the fact that the nurse, Tiffany, was very patient with me and my anxiety. I would easily recommend him.
His manner, his expertise, his availability are unparalleled. He is one of the best plastic surgeons and hand surgeons in NYC. His office staff are fabulous, very well run efficient but caring office.
Dr F was fantastic - I was on TV 8 days after a minor surgery to my face to remove a growth below the skin. I would give him 6 stars if there were that many.
Both my Grandmother and I have been patients of Dr. Fong so I can attest to the fact that he is an excellent surgeon. Dr. Fong does wonderful reconstructive surgeries. My grandmother was very self-conscious because she had eye one that appeared smaller than the other eye. Twenty-five years ago when Dr. Fong first started his private practice, he performed eye lid surgery on the one that was smaller. The result was amazing because it balanced out the size of her eyes. She was already 73 years old when he performed the surgery and she did not have any problems recoverying after surgery. Last year, I had two ugly scars on my forehead and eyebrow from a bad accident because the skin did not heal properly. Dr. Fong did a superb job of stitching up the scars. The majority of people cannot tell that there was ever a scar present at the two locations. He also has a courteous and professional staff. The young women at his front desk are very sweet and his surgical assistants is very capable. They always accommodated my busy schedule so it was easy to schedule my appointments to see Dr. Fong. The doctor made sure that they called me for follow-up after visit.
When you call a doctor for the first time, what do you expect? If it's "Hello, what's troubling you and how can our office help?". Don't call this office.I thought I made a mistake dialing because the first question was "What's your insurance? What's your whole name? <Excuse me what?> Did I just end up in the DMV as well? Why did you want my whole name? My first name wasn't good enough anymore for a first call to your office? "Your name has to match the insurance card...." <Oh I'm sorry I thought they only treated people this way in communist countries?>So what's the problem here? The problem is there's a disconnect between my needs as a patient to be heard and hopefully healed versus this office's need to get all the right insurance information first and get paid. I as a potential patient had the correct insurance. How do I know? I asked other people with similar insurance to make sure I can make an appointment here in the first place. I'm that prepared. So that's not the issue because, as I've come to expect from other health provider offices from the upper east side and all across Manhattan and other boroughs, as soon as I filled out the correct paperwork, when I got to the office, they would have gotten paid. This doctor came highly recommended, so I called. That's my mistake. I equated excellent results with empathy. The truth is excellent care comes at excellent price. I had the insurance and would have happily paid but I'm not giving my money to an "all business" shop with no heart.
Dr Fong is the only doctor I have actually enjoyed going to see over the years. He is fun and engaging. I have broken bones in my hands multiple times and everytime I go to Dr. Fong, he makes me feel like family.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
