Dr. David Katzka is the most amazing doctor I have ever met! He took time to carefully listen to all my concerns and had so much empathy towards me. I've been to so many doctors that couldn't find my problem until I met him. May God bless him always!! He is one in a million! THE BEST DOCTOR EVER!

Dr Katzka is the most fantastic, thorough doctor I have ever met. Based on looking through my portal, He brought up other concerns non related to his field, that were never addressed. I am very impressed. He responds to messages sent, although I feel bad that he responds out of business hours. Wish he doesn't bother. Truly a wonderful sensitive personality. I am in awe!!!!! A rare rare find!

Dr. Katzka is the best there is. I have several chronic conditions and therefore have seen many doctors. There is not a single doctor whose compassion comes even close to Dr. Katzka’s. He treats his patients with nothing not respect and kindness. He is a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and experience. I am forever grateful to have found him.

Kindest physician I ever met. Diligent and listens to everything you have to say. Talks to you instead of at you which is breath of fresh air after dealing with other physicians in the Bay area. If you are unclear, worried or just want A second opinion from the best of the best see Dr Katzka!!

He is the best doctor I’ve ever been to. I will continue to fly across the country to see him when I need follow up. He is partially responsible for diagnosing and coming up with a treatment when I wanted to die due to the severity of my condition in 2011. I’m forever grateful.

We paid a lot of money to fly across the country and see Katzka. The trip was very much worth the time and money. He diagnosed me and provided a plan of action. Been suffering for so long, so we were so grateful! Honestly never thought we'd find an answer!

I've been to a lot of GI doctors, none of whom were able to diagnose me (and none of whom seemed to care or take me seriously). I'm so grateful for Dr Katzka. I never thought I'd receive a diagnosis after so long, but he had me diagnosed and with a treatment plan within days of meeting him. He's an excellent doctor, and I'd recommend anyone with esophageal problems to make the trip to see him.

Dr Katzka diagnosed an esophageal condition in TWO DAYS that had eluded doctors in my state for 2 1/2 years. He's so warm but knowledgeable about esophageal conditions. The trip to Mayo Clinic was certainly worth it!

Dr. Katzka is an excellent physician who truly has compassion for every one of his patients. He is extremely kind and considerate to his patient's health problems and has phenomenal bedside manner. He is very thorough, intelligent in his specialty, and treats you as a person instead of a number. You never feel as though you are wasting his time, since he listens to everything you have to say without interrupting. He will go above and beyond to help you and is very prompt in returning phone calls. I have had a multitude of physicians at highly rated hospitals, and I have never received better care than with him. I have no doubt in my mind that he is the best physician out there. I wish there were more like him.
