Dr Behrman was so kind and professional when he did the surgery on my 9 year old daughter… her recovery was quick and she is happy and healthy.

The appointment was very informative aswell as a very quick service. Every question was asked and very helpful.

Easily the biggest mistake of my life was undergoing jaw surgery with Dr. Behrman. It was planning and operating room failure and I'm very disappointed with every single aspect of his practice. Dr. Behrman left me with numerous complications which required a full revision to fix. Even with these complications Dr. Behrman refused to speak with me after my operation. His beside manner did an abrupt 180 the second I left the operating room, as far as he was concerned he achieved his goal of performing yet another poorly executed surgery and the actual outcome is immaterial. Appointment after appointment he would cowardly hide behind a phalanx of residents and simply refuse to see me while I dealt with uninformed residents. Don't assume New York Presbyterian's high overall rank is any indication of quality, Dr. Behrman's numerous malpractice lawsuits numbering in the teens are enough to refute that claim.

I came to see Dr. Behrman for a consultation about having a troublesome wisdom tooth extracted. This had to be done in a hospital setting due to my bleeding disorder. He took his time with me. He was knowledgable, approachable, listened respectfully and gave me excellent advice: That I needed to be followed by a hematologist for this surgery and beyond. Dr. Behrman and his team were terrific and worked seamlessly together. They knew what they were doing and I felt in good hands as they prepped me. Dr. Behrman came in, very relaxed and upbeat with a good sense of humor. During my recovery, Dr. Behrman came in to check on me. Overall, an exemplary experience. To top it off, he called me at home to see how I was doing.

My experience with David Alan Behrman D.M.D was very professional he explained my procedure walking me through what would take place. Dr. Behrman answered all my questions and concerns , I’m happy for our meeting that’s why New York Presbyterian Well Cornell Hospital is number one they have the absolute best doctors.

I have spent my entire adult life suffering from chronic jaw and coinciding facial pain along with severe headaches. I am so grateful to Dr. Behrman and his outstanding team for identifying the real source of what I was always sold on as TMJ. Dr. Behrman deserves the highest of praise for explaining the issues, managing expectations, ensuring a successful result and providing timely responses whenever I had any concerns. Excellent surgeon while displaying compassion, empathy and concern. Cannot say enough great things about his work. I am lucky and grateful to have been introduced to him and to have been under his care.

Dr behrman is such a caring.. humble .. very detail oriented doctor… they are hard to come by these days… I went for many opinions and I trusted him the minute I met him and even more by the end of the visit.. he spends plenty of time with you so you don’t feel rushed…

Saw Dr Behrman on 2 occasions, for consultation on an unusual surgery involving synovial chrondromatosis. He is a very knowledgeable doctor, sharing information and procedures as well as listening and answering all my questions. He appears confident while also being laid back. He made me feel confident that I am in good hands when it is time for my surgery. I have consulted many doctors including him and he's the one that outshined the rest.

We consulted with Dr. Behrman on 2 separate occasions regarding jaw surgery. He’s a knowledgeable physician who answered all of our questions openly and honestly. He came highly recommended by our orthodontist, and we have complete faith in him.

Incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the work needed to address issues with my jaw. From understanding and explaining the process of recovery to details around insurance. Easy to speak with, caring and generous with his time.
