Following three successful hair transplants with a private Dr., I consulted Dr. Alpeter at Bosley and requested 300 grafts and (pre-existing) scar removal. He suggested 800 grafts and the scar removal. The day of the surgery I agreed to leave the exact number of grafts to the Dr. To maximize profit he did 1,136 grafts and no scar removal. This left me unable to cover the scar area. In the end there was no new hair growth--a total failure. Forgetting the anguish I have experienced, Dr. Alpeter did me a complete dis-service.

At my initial visit I requested scar removal and 300 grafts. Dr. Alpeter suggested scar removal and 800 grafts. On the day of the procedure I agreed to leave the exact number up to Dr. Alpeter. So as to maximize his profit he did 1,136 grafts and left the scar area untouched. This left me unable to cover the scar area. In the end no new hair came---a complete failure. Dr. Alpeter then disingenuously told me that it could take up to 18 months for the transplanted hair to appear. 2.5 years later no new hair.

Dr. Alpeter is a master! I have had 3 other procedures in my life with other doctors and Im writing this comments to tell my experience with Bosley in New York City. It was amazing. The team that worked with Dr. Alpeter was highly competent. I felt so at ease with the entire procedure from the day and time I walked into my consultation until the time I got my stitches out. As an added benefit, he took an old unsightly scar from a previous surgery and made it almost unnoticeable–– even after I shaved my head with clippers! Dr. Alpeter and his team are the best!

On 9/24/19 I Patrick Smith had a Bosley hair restoration. Beforehand I met with David Schultz in Albany , New York. David was extremely helpful answering all my questions and concerns. David was patient and thorough when I meet with him. David showed me what I could expect to look like and the length time it would take. On the day of the procedure Dr. David M. Alpeter Jr. Was kind and considerate answering all my concerns. If I was to have additional restoration I would only have Dr. Alpeter do it. Also I want to to thank the Medical Assistants Latisha, Wakeria, Nathalie, Marie, and Raquel for their stedfast dedication and hard work. Thank you to all including the receptionist. Dr. Alpeter called me while I was driving back to my residence. This made a great impact on me to refer others to Bosley. Thanks again Patrick J Smith
