I met with a few foot ankle orthopedists at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Levine was one of the most professional & honest. You can tell he truly knows the intricacies of the anatomy and physiology of the foot, as well as the biomechanics and overall body alignment issues that can result from rearrangement of foot structures, including soft tissues such as tendons and ligaments. He explained to me the tripod balance that needs to happen in the foot for optimal stability and function... My significant other and I liked him a lot. Even though I ended up choosing another surgeon to perform my surgery because a friend of mine had success with the other surgeon and I guess I was somewhat biased by her experience, I belong to a group of over thousands of people with similar foot issues and have recommended Dr. Levine to many. His office staff, especially Jadira the manager, are also courteous, organized and prompt in communication and assistance. Top notch surgeon and awesome staff.

I don’t usually write reviews but had to in this case because it was the reviews of patients that led to my decision to use Dr. Levine for my Ankle tendon transplant. I could not have made a better choice and am very thankful for those reviews. Do not hesitate one bit to use this remarkable surgeon. My entire process was seamless from start to finish. This office is run like a well oiled machine and everyone there is so caring and attentive. You’ll know why once you go for a consult. He goes above and beyond to take the time to answer questions and explain in non doctor terms in a warm and caring manner. I am healing nicely and all is going as planned. The thing that surprises me the most is you never wait longer than 10 minutes to get in the office, even though he’s so busy it runs so smoothly. I wish more Doctors could learn from him and have the non ego bedside manner he does. Thank you so much Dr. Levine, your my favorite!!!

Well, I waited for 2.5 hours to get an xray (even though I went to get a second opinion on my arthritis diagnosis, which doesn't show up on an xray, AND I had a very recent xray and MRI on a disc with me) and see Dr. Levine for literally less than 5 minutes. He told me he couldn't read the MRI I brought on his own but didn't want to call the radiologist, so he'd call me back after speaking with him. It's been over a month and he hasn't called or responded to messages I've left him. So far I've been charged 532 dollars for this.

Dr. David is an incredible doctor. David operated on my left ankle after breaking/dislocating it, so far I am 4 months in and I’m recovering really well.His practice has fantastic employees and are very patient!They dealt with my insurance (who were very complicated). I would definitely recommend Dr. Levine!

I have just had my second surgery with Dr Levine and I couldn’t be happier with the result. When other surgeons refused to take on my complicated case, Dr Levine reassured me that there was a good chance that the fusion in my ankle could be successful despite the damage caused by RA.
