I arrived for my scheduled (and confirmed) new patient appointment and I was told that the office closed at 7pm and I wouldn't be seen. I asked why they scheduled me for a 6:50pm appointment if they closed at 7pm and the receptionist stated that she called me to see if I'd like to come in earlier (she called at 5pm). I asked why a message was not left for me, as they called me when I was at work (I did call back, by the way, there was no answer), and she said "we don't typically leave messages". The receptionist went in the back to ask Dr. Began if she'd see me as a courtesy and the doctor refused. $60 in uber fees later, I was never seen. I work in a doctor's office and we have never once treated a patient this way. Truly deplorable.

Why is it that patients are unable to call the doctor's office directly? Thats very inconvenient for the patients. Waited a long time to get a call back.
