I couldn’t recommend Dr. Shire more highly! I’ve been seeing Dr. Shire for almost five years, through different phases of life including two pregnancies, and he has been nothing short of exceptional. He takes the time to really understand what’s going on, explains everything clearly, and treats not just the symptoms but the underlying issue. Most recently, I walked in with severe neck pain that made it hard to turn my head. Within a day after seeing him, the pain had completely disappeared. This has been my experience with him time and time again: thoughtful care, precise treatment, and real results. Beyond his clinical skill, he’s incredibly kind, patient, and responsive, the kind of doctor who genuinely cares. I always feel safe and supported in his care, and I’m grateful to have found someone I can trust so deeply over the years. I first saw Dr. Rob in spring 2022 when my baby was still breech ~34-35 weeks. After one appointment, baby flipped and I was able to have the delivery I hoped for. Fast forward 3.5 years pregnant with baby #3, and baby was still breech at 32 weeks. I was starting to get nervous, but before l fully panicked, I booked an appointment with Dr. Rob. Sure enough, baby flipped head down again after one visit! Even after baby’s flipped, I have continued to see Dr. Shire, as both pregnancies I’ve felt a huge relief in lower back pain after each appointment. I have been so grateful I found Dr. Shire, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a chiropractor specializing in the Webster Technique.

Dr. Shire came highly recommended by my birthing instructor for prenatal bodywork! He is certified in the Webster technique and knows what he’s doing with pregnant bodies - sessions are gentle and relaxing. My body feels great with the adjustments and hopefully baby will have an easier time during labor! He also suggested biofeedback sessions they offer in-house. Dr. Taylor Rahe has been just wonderful in helping with stress/emotional regulation and mental birth prep techniques. Wish I had discovered it earlier in pregnancy! The clinic is clean, modern, and conveniently located midtown. The staff is very warm and efficient and scheduling is easy and flexible.

Began seeing Dr. Shire when I was in severe pain. Despite his ability to quickly diagnose and treat, I quickly realized it was smarter to have him regularly maintain my alignment as opposed to having my body compensate for misalignments and risk more damage. Forever grateful for his skill and great personality.

Dr. Shire’s mobile chiropractic service saved our NYC vacation when I was suddenly struck with severe vertigo and unable to leave our hotel room. I found him online when looking for a vertigo specialist and was fortunate he could see me within the hour! After his adjustments I felt immediately improved and was able to finally rest comfortably. My next-day follow-up adjustment and manual therapy at his Tru Care office provided even more improvement, allowing me to enjoy our trip. His staff efficiently handled my insurance superbills too, a big plus. Dr. Shire is the best chiropractor I've ever seen—gracious and compassionate and so knowledgeable and experienced. I will never forget his kindness and determination to help me a a quickly as possible when I needed it most. He even checked in on me once I returned to CA! I can’t recommend him enough!
