List of Eastside Gynecology's Reviews
There shouldn’t be no reason why my husband had to wait 4 HOURS outside for me to get my procedure done. The doctor said it’s gonna take about 1 and a half hours ok fine but I kept being the last one to do anything. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment before hand if imma be the last one to even leave?
The best Gynecologist’s clinic in the USA.
ya tengo 4 años asistiendo aqui y el trato excelente muy bien todos muy amables
TAKE THE TIME TO FIND A DIFFERENT FACILITY. BEWARE OF EASTSIDE GYNECOLOGY. This place runs like a factory line disguised as healthcare. The priority seems painfully clear: push through as many procedures as possible and leave the human beings behind. From the moment you hit the door, the tone is set by an aggressive, verbally hostile security guard who treats patients as though they're intruding rather than seeking care. She slammed the door in my face as I said goodbye to my mother and partner before going up, and then proceeded to *scream* profanities at someone on the other line of her phone. Inside, you're parked in a waiting room for nearly two hours with an absurdly inappropriate movie playing, because who doesn't want to watch chaos before surgery? And honestly, what's the point of making an appointment if you're going to be left to languish anyway? Most of the staff move with a chill that isn't professionalism. It's indifference. Cold faces, clipped tones, and an attitude that borders on contempt. Not what anyone should meet on one of the hardest days of their life. That said, a few people carried grace where others abandoned it. Naya in recovery had a gentleness that matched the weight of the moment. Ileana in the OR did her best to compensate for her colleagues, offering small kindnesses that felt huge in contrast. Judith in the lab was warm and steady. But then you meet Ana in ultrasound, who had to be convinced to hand over a paper towel to wipe myself, as though basic courtesy was an optional add-on. You ever had a transvaginal ultrasound probe inserted without gentle warning or some sort of recognition of the action? Traumatic. And Lala at registration treated the proces like intake at a correctional facility... utterly devoid of compassion, rushing patients through as though feelings were inconveniences and questions were a nuisance. The doctor handling the pre-op disclosures rattled off critical information at hyperspeed, like the fast-talker at the end of a pharmaceutical commercial. Blink and you'll miss half your own consent. If you have the privilege of choosing where to go, DO NOT CHOSE THIS PLACE. If you believe a deeply personal, painful medical experience deserves humanity and care, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you want to be treated like cattle pushed through a gate, well, this clinic has perfected that art. Eastside Gynecology, do better. You should be ashamed.
La señora de ginecología es una pesada , íbamos a pagar nuestro dinero y nos dejó esperando
Very unprofessional especially the MD there’s no privacy every worker is loud in the back the receptionist is very nice THEY NEED TO WORK ON GIVING PATIENTS PRIVACY and talk much lower smh worst experience ever. I will never go back. 635 Madison Avenue 12th fl I was very uncomfortable only the receptionist and the MA was so sweet
I just came home from there feeling demeaned. The doctor, anesthesiologist and MAs were all amazing except for the ultrasound tech who made the unideal situation worse. I chose to go to the Manhattan location for the private suite despite it not being covered by my insurance so that my partner can look after me during recovery but I felt rushed as the ultrasound tech came to the room when I was still feeling drowsy after the procedure and said I can leave. I was told prior to booking the private suite I can stay there until I felt ready to go, and I don’t think 20 minutes after the procedure was enough time for me to feel safe to leave especially after she made the comment that Asians usually take longer for the anesthesia to wear off. I had to ask if I can stay for another 30 minutes which she looked at her watch before agreeing. She also realized after I was laying under the blue waterproof sheet that was placed on top of the bed, but because it was cold in the room and I just had the procedure I slipped under the blanket that was placed under the blue sheet. She had me get up out of the bed while I was still drowsy and pulled out the bedsheet to make sure I didn’t stain the bed and said if I did she’d have to throw the whole bed away. I came out of the procedure feeling sad and after the several incidents with her, I left the clinic feeling even more upset. On top of that, there was also an issue with the antibiotic instructions. Per the bottle, it said to take the antibiotic 2 tablets daily which I did. However, when I had a chance to read the aftercare pamphlet the next day after taking my 2nd dose, the pamphlet said 1 tablet every 12 hours. I messaged their live chat box and the person responded saying it should’ve said “2 tablets daily, once in the morning and once at night.” No it shouldn’t have said that which makes it all the more confusing, it should’ve read exactly like the pamphlet. There were a few other issues such as being told my escort is allowed to be there for the ultrasound but then was told they’re not and also that follow up was covered with the self pay but then was told it’s not and then confirmed it was. I’m not sure this is the best place to go with the mixed information, rude ultrasound tech, and confusing antibiotic instructions. It is a tough situation to be in and you can only hope to find a private clinic that can bring you some peace instead of leaving you even more stressed with the aftermath.
East side Gyn has helped me for years. For all the queens out there that have to endure the hardship of already going through difficult situations, east side makes you feel like royalty. While already feeling bad about my situation the staff reassure me with love, the staff are kind, patient and understanding unlike the Brooklyn location. This office is clean and it’s a boutique style service. While you may not feel empowered at the moment east side makes you feel at home even providing you with a car service if your insurance covers it or if you pay out Of pocket. There a recovery room (separate Charge) for females that need a little extra care. I HIGHLY recommend you choose east side if you want to be handled gently And with care.
Don’t come here unless you’re desperate. The ultrasound tech is SO unprofessional. She’s loud and condescending and made me feel so uncomfortable. It was my first time ever dealing with something like this and she made me feel so uncomfortable. She demanded me around and was so loud and belligerent. Further more, they make you wait in this little waiting room with a whole bunch of other patients right before your procedure. It’s so uncomfortable because your just packed in this tiny room with 2-4 other people. I’ve been waiting for over an Hour to see an anesthesiologist with one person ahead of me. Only good thing is the price. I have emblem health and my co pay was only $50. I am writing this as I have still not yet did my procedure and my appointment was at 9am it is currently 11am. 2 hours in and all I’ve don’t is get an ultrasound and wait in the freezing cold waiting room.
Everyone in this place deserve a magnificent raise their super nice and clean place very good place I recommend this place.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
