Amazing doctor . Perfectionist , knows what she’s doing right down to the last detail . Impeccable bed side manners . Always makes my mother smile before each chemo session .I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable , experienced oncologist . Her staff is also amazing . Dianne , sweetest voice on the phone . Also her PA Jennifer , highly professional and takes the time out to listen .

Dr. Popa saved our mother’s life. She is the kindest, most knowledgeable most caring doctor. She got my mother and our family thru the worst times because she always had an answer and a plan. She truly is remarkable and you’re blessed if you are in her care. Her team is also amazing. Diane and Jennifer are G-d sends as well.

awful. one of the worst, most inconsistent, inaccurate doctors I've ever seen! Told me something completely WRONG about the potential treatments...like so wrong that the doctors at MSK were shocked and practically laughed. Then she did a 180 at the next consultation and told me she never said the first thing (despite having not only another person with me but a RECORDING of what she said). Even the second recommendation was complete nonsense not to mention that she basically told me every treatment is bad, doesn't work and if I don't have surgery there are "no good options". RUN SCREAMING FROM THIS DOCTOR and GO TO SLOAN. I'd give zero stars if it was an option.

This woman saved my life !!!!! In the most horrible time of my life she was my Godsend. If you need an awesome doctor Look no further than Popa.

The best, she knows what she talking about, a little nutty but great doctor, only thing besides that I don’t like , waiting and waiting for my injection, 20 minutes or longer, plus her sidekick Jennifer is the best, other staff can say much.

Unfortunately after reading the rest of the reviews of Dr Popa our family was extremely hopeful since our loved one had been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and no hope was offered by the other doctor we had seen prior to this visit. Our first visit with her was amazing, she gave hope, she seemed extremely genuine, had a great calm demeanor and a natural warming presence. My aunt was very excited to return to her because of everything I mentioned above but after a few visits, I began to realize she is just a mascot for the hospital and doesn't really care about her patients. She's there to take money and that is simply it. There is no customized care for patients. We were told my aunt would do chemo a combination of 3 drugs> 5FU which is what was done but with no follow up. Extreme weight loss set in and we were only given a number of drugs and sent on our way. My aunt was hospitalized several times and I practically had to beg Dr Popa to come see her in the hospital which is located directly across the street from her. She went to the hospital a total of 3 times in the entire month my aunt was in there. I would never recommend Dr Popa to anyone who is going through this crazy thing called Cancer! She doesn't care and is simply all about getting money! Doesn't check in on patients, doesn't follow up after visit! Unfortunately my aunt doesn't want to rock the boat and would prefer to keep going to her but I am hopeful at some point she will be well enough to see through all of this!

She was very caring & compassionate. Made me feel at ease considering I went in a nervous wreck. I felt so assured I was in excellent hands. Explained everything in easy to understand format . Has given me a second chance at life because of her expertise.
