Elizabeth K. Hale's Online Review Report Card

I have been a regular patient of Dr. Elizabeth Hale, MD for several years. Daughter of an eye surgeon, Dr. Hale’s expertise, patient care, and compassion all contribute to her being a truly exceptional physician. Whether a routine full body scan or complex procedure, Dr. Hale is incredibly attentive and her staff provides an outstanding patient experience. In particular, I am thrilled with the natural results Dr. Hale has skillfully produced. I receive many compliments in-person and on-screen highlighting the glow and youthfulness of my skin. Co-founded and led with her sister, Dr. Julie Karen, MD, Complete Skin MD is a very special place in New York City.

Dr. Hale is the BEST dermatologist! I have been a patient of Dr. Hale's for over 7 years, and have had a number of procedures, including Moh's surgery on my nose, with no scarring. She is a very caring and highly skilled dermatologist. Additionally, the office staff is very efficient and always willing to help with appointments and billing questions.

Very unkind. Saw her two times around 5 years ago and the extreme dissatisfaction remains enough that I felt need to submit review in hopes to help others to investigate before going to her.

Dr. Hale did not err on the side of caution with my son, unfortunately. The doctor advised my husband and I that another laser treatment with her would *only* make a scar on his skin better. Hearing those words, we did another laser treatment and his skin his hyperpigmented. He was only in Pre-K at the time and when he was in a lot pain during the procedure, she did not stop to understand why (e.g., had the numbing cream worn off, because the first treatment didn't hurt him at all the fist time). The doctor was not compassionate with him at all (or with us), and it was not what I had come to expect (our prior experiences had been excellent). Then, after we reported to her that the scar worsened, when we tried to follow up on repair, she didn't care to follow up with him and try to help.

I enthusiastically recommend Dr Elizabeth Hale for a dermatologist. She is brilliant, thorough, caring and kind. She is the best doctor I go to for care. Virginia Rosenblatt

It is hard to write as I would like to believe reviews of Dr. Hale and her help with cancer patients. For me, was aesthetic purposes, and results were devastating and costly. Came to her for simple hyaluronic acid correction for an overinjjection of a filler. Instead, she stated an injection of Belotero would remedy the situation. Not only did it make matters worse, she was training an intern and told him I had a “fat pocket”! She is more than welcome to see my none existent pocket now that fillers have left. Even better, after charging me $850 for Belotero, her office called to say I owed additional $250. for hyaluronic acid injection only to call days later to say that billing was a mistake. Only mistake was seeing Dr. Hale in the first place

Dermatology doesn't get any better than Dr. Elizabeth Hale. It is extremely difficult to find a dermatologist who specializes in both medical and cosmetic purposes, and yet Dr. Hale is a genius at both. She is patient, thoughtful, and really takes her time when evaluating my skin to determine what is best for me. She is honest and precise with what I need (and don't need). Her office staff is absolutely amazing, as well. They are extremely accommodating and always fit me in when I need a last minute injection or have any issues. They are friendly and warm and definitely make me feel like a person rather than a number. I couldn't be any happier with this practice or my results!

There is no better doctor then Dr. Hale. She is thorough and considered in her approach and understands the needs of busy executives as well. I have been seeing her for aprox 10 years after some bad experiences.

Wonderful caring, accurate and very thorough. Skin cancer runs in my family. I see Dr. Karen and feel in very good hands.

There is NOBODY BETTER in the city then Dr Hale and her partner and sister Dr Karen. They are the best at everything they do, and their staff is equally outstanding....Dont bother going anywhere else...Complete Skin Care MD is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!
