Dr Liao has been my endocrinologist for 15 years and she is hands down the best. Super personable, always responsive, cares deeply. I now live upstate but will continue to see her as long as I am driving distance.

Dismissive and rude. Dr Liao was completely dismissive of me from the moment I walked in her office. It’s like she read my chart, felt that I didn’t need to be there, and didn’t care to treat me in any way. When I was visibly upset, she made a few suggestions that were mostly unhelpful, mentioned seeing another type of doctor but didn’t give me any referrals. Women not helping other women is the worst. I would never see her again nor would I ever refer anyone to see her.. if you want a healthcare provider that is understanding, listens and helps, she is not the one.

She doesn't listen. There were things on my chart that I never said to her. She prescribed me estrogen-based birth control despite having high blood pressure and told me my blood pressure wasn't "that bad." It's weirdly extra sad when women doctors don't listen to women. Choose a different endocrinologist if you can.

Dr. Liao, is by far one of the best endocrinologist there are in NYC!!! Been seeing her for years and is a true professional and very kind . If you are lucky to have her as your doctor, you are truly in the best hands !!!

Have tried for 2 months to obtain my medical records from this office. No one ever picks up the phone or calls back.

Dr. Liao is the best endocrinologist there is, she is a very sweet person who understands her patients. Cares and needs, she understands the changes your body goes through when you have thyroids. I have been going to her for a few years now and I don’t think I’ll ever leave, She is my Angel.

Dr. Liao is caring, knowledgeable, prompt, and super efficient. Her office is a pleasure to deal with (not something I can usually say about medical offices in NYC) and that is a reflection on her. No matter what kind of problem you have with insurance, her office will straighten it out. I had a problem with my insurance covering a certain bone medication; she advocated for me and I got coverage. I would recommend her to everyone I know.
