I have been going to Dr. Manessis for several years now. He is the only doctor I actually look forward to seeing. He is intelligent, warm, caring , encouraging and thorough. He encourages questions and answers everything in the easiest terms. When I first became his patient, I weighed 287 lbs. my AIC was 7.1 and I was taking 200 units of insulin. Today I weigh 250 lbs. my AIC is 5.6 and have reduced my insulin intake to 90 units. This is all due to his guidance and encouragement.

Dr. Manessis and his staff are the best of the best of life itself. I Love my doctor, and All of his staff, especially (Laura), who is such a joy to deal with!!! They all are very helpful and are so concerned about the patients. I’ve been seeing my doctor (Dr. Manessis) for so many years. I must let everyone know he’s the best!!!… God bless him, and his family always!!!♥️♥️♥️ The other staff members ( Coveda, Ezra, Peter, Irene, and the other tall blonde, young lady who I forgot her name. Please forgive me! They all are wonderful people! Very caring and very accurate. I Love them all! The best endocrinologist staff!♥️♥️♥️

The visit with the Dr Manessis is always very thorough and detailed and the visit is not rushed. The doctor is interested in all aspects of my health. I am confident that I am in good hands with Dr Manessis and his team.

I have been seeing Dr.M for over 20yrs and even after my insurance changed to only in-network in my state (NJ), he is the only doctor I will go out of my way to travel into the city for when my Manhattan commute ended. I am very informed about my health via research, and he never hesitates to consider trying new avenues to improve it. He is very thorough, patient, pleasant - really cares about your health (and family too) - and he and his staff go out of their way to address any needs or concerns, whether it be refills, appts, filling out needed forms, providing documentation when appealing denials from insurance, AND immediately responds to messages on the patient portal. I always keep him in the loop as to what is going on under my other doctors' care, and he follows up on those concerns on my visits. Most only want to hear about the specialty they treat, but he is really the "look at the entire picture" type of physician. Above and beyond is their motto, and my only concern is will I find a new doctor and staff equal to them should I relocate out of the metro area?..it will be a miracle if I do!
