When he and PA are selling the back operation, their bedside manner is awesome. Once the back op is complete, Dr. Elowitz forgets you were ever a patient. Contacted or attempted to contact him for left leg complications. Could only speak with his PA. Had issues immediately after op. Quad has no feeling, problem with knee, bad hamstring pain, back pain, op caused neuropathy in left foot. I am still having complications (my op Sept. 2020.) HE TOLD ME HE IS A SURGEON AND HE DID HIS JOB. I DO NOT HANDLE POST OP PROBLEMS. He suggested that I go see my pain management doctor. I am currently seeing acupuncturist 2x per week, Physical therapist 1-2x per week and massage therapist. his on top of nerve paid medications. DON'T RISK HAVING A BACK OPERATION WITH DR. ELOWITZ. Go in with one issue and come out with numerous issues.

Dr. Eric Elowitz is an execellent neurosurgeon and a very compassionate Doctor. Dr Elowitz performed my brain surgery at Beth Isreal in NYC in the early 2001 and saved my life. I cannot thank him & his staff enough. I have and will always recommend people to Dr Elowitz's care any & all day long for their neurological problems. Thank you Dr Eric Elowitz, you are the best of the best. M. Bantum

This was the Second time He operated on me Last month and 15 years ago on two different locations, and each time he helped me tremendously 15 years ago my pain was so bad and after the surgery I was fine, this time I couldn’t take five steps without losing my balance and again I’m doing so much better. He doesn’t rush into surgery and he listens. I would recommend Doctor Elowitz to anyone with Neck or Back problems. Plus all of his Staff are Wonderful Especially Lisa.

When I was 21, Dr Elowitz successfully removed a malignant Medulloblastoma the size of a golf ball from my brain. I followed up with 6 weeks of radiation and I’ve been cancer and tumor free for 24 years.

Dr Elowitz performed my Anterior Discectomy w fusion of C5-C6 in 2012, while at the time I was a nurse in NYC. I just reached out to him last week, Within 2 days of him receiving my progress notes, CT Scans and MRIs, from my current provider 2,000 miles away in Wyoming, a video visit was set up through his nurse Lisa. The visit went well, he answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Lisa is amazing and really does her best to help you through the paperwork and getting you through to Dr Elowitz. They are a great team!

My spinal surgery with Dr. Elowitz was a successful operation. Before I could not sleep from pain, could hardly walk. Immediately after surgery, I was fine.
