Missing him at the clinic too busy for me but the best🤗

He was my mother's primary physician for decades. Then she had a heart attack. When my mother was released from the hospital after her heart attack, she was unable to get any treatment or support from him--not even a callback. Every time my mother suffered, we had to use Google to try to help her. He abandoned my mother during her entire illness and his indifference could have killed her.My mom has recovered, but the medical providers that treated her for her heart attack need him to prepare paperwork so they can get paid. They have been trying since August and he ignores them. He continues to do nothing and now they are coming after her for payment even though she had insurance--but the insurance won't pay without Dr. Martinez. What in the world....He should be ashamed

I have been going to Doc now for almost 18 years he and Lucy provide the most amazing care possible and a part of a wonderful healthcare system. When I got married we brought my wife over to him from Kaisier which was the best senioro possible. Whenever I have had questions about my health or have had an healthcare issue Doc and Lucy have answered immediately over Follow My Health. Doc's compassion is like none other he listens to us as patients and directs to the highest quality care. When I do go see doc I always look forward to the "knock knock" and see him poke his head around the door and hear him say "hear for a visit" "how can I help". I never feel rushed when talking to him and he is completely empathic to what ever my issue maybe. I you need a good doctor Doctor Fernando Martinez is who you want along with amazing and wonderful Medical Assistant Lucy. Thank you Doc and keep up your amazing work. We love you both and hope you stay safe during the awful pandemic

Dr. Martinez is one of the best physicians I have seen in New York. He combines great clinical expertise with compassion and warmth. Though he is a pulmonary specialist, he is concerned about all aspects of his patients’ health. Unlike many specialists at teaching hospitals in New York, he does not exhibit the “God complex” so many doctors in Manhattan have, and will coordinate with other physicians at Weill-Cornell and other hospitals as needed to get his patients comprehensive medical care.

I Am a new patient of Dr Martinez and in mid February I had to schedule my appointment for April 17th due to their booked new patient schedule. When I showed up on April 17th I was told by the receptionist that the doctor isn't in and my appointment was rescheduled to May 25th The receptionist said that Rosie called and spoke to me to reschedule my appointment when In fact that never happened. So I had to loose money to take time off work and now I have to wait a month and a half to see the doctor. It's sucks that no one decided to do their work today and I get the dirty end of the stick. Please schedule me sooner!

I have been to numerous doctors in my lifetime but this man is by far one of the most intelligent and most caring doctors I have ever encountered on either side of the Atlantic. Although I see Dr. Martinez for a pulmonary vascular problem, he impressed me by taking the time to research my rare liver disease. He was also able to validate my concerns and find the problem I was having with my breathing when other doctors could not. Dr. Martinez has a tremendous staff to boot.

I have been seeing Dr. Martinez for 6 years and his diagnoses has been right on, even though my case has been mystifying to some of the best know pathologists from around the world. Dr. Martinez spends the time necessary to fully understand my questions and explain them in a way that a layman can understand. He keeps my other doctors up to date on my case and does not hesitate to refer me to someone else if he thinks that will be of a benefit to me. I highly recommend Dr. Martinez as a doctor to see if you have pulmanary issues that are out of the ordinary.

My experience with Dr. Martinez was great. He took a thorough history, listened well, made necessary contacts with other doctors, and was very reassuring that things were goingto be OK in the end. He is a big asset to my care.
