I am youngish ( 60 ) for hearing aids, but I had a hunch I did need them, which was confirmed with an audiologist test. I was very nervous and anxious about actually getting them. Thank goodness I found out about Rufina through a friend. Rufina put me at ease and took me through each step with professionalism, kindness and humor. It was a bit of a shock to first wear hearing aids, but Rufina made the experience not scary at all! It makes a world of difference to work with a doctor who is so competent, warm and engaged. I give my highest recommendation to Fifth Ave Hearing. Wearing hearing aids has 100 % improved my life. We are lucky to have access to such wonderful technology.

Like most people I admitted I needed hearing aids about five years late. I realized, with my wife’s help, that I was missing my daughter’s voice. That was almost 20 years ago. Since that time, I have struggled with my hearing loss as it has deteriorated from mild to profound. During that journey I have dealt with several audiologists of varying degrees of success until I met Rufina Yakubov. She is the most thorough, knowledgeable and thoughtful of the bunch. She has guided me though the frustrating steps of providing me with the best hearing aids and personalized programs to maximize my hearing ability. It is impossible for me to recommend her higher as she is the best I have ever encountered. Be assured that you are in the most competent hands available as she guides you through your own hearing loss journey.

Rufina Yakubov is a great audiologist. She fitted me with hearing aids that cured the ringing in my ears. My hearing aids are Bluetooth enabled, so I take and receive calls on my Iphone through my hearing aids, which is very convenient. Rufina is always available to answer questions.
