Dr. Yu is wonderful. She is caring and knowledgeable. No matter how busy she is, when she is with you, she is present! She types rapidly as you speak but doesn’t forget to make eye contact. When I was post-surgery for a hip replacement I had to call her from the Rehab facility to determine if I should get a transfusion. For some reason… the doctor there decided to let me make the call. It was in the evening and she was in a meeting — but she took the call and told me yes to get transfused. Good thing, I needed 2 units of blood and the hospital checked for internal bleeding, there wasn’t. When you need her she’s there for you. Dr. Yu is highly skilled and answers all my questions. I have referred her to several of my friends. She’s a great find! Triple thumbs up!

Dr Yu has been my doctor for the past three years. She is very professional, always evaluate all aspects oh my medical health. She is responsive to all my questions in my follow-ups by email. I am very satisfied with the Physichian teams from NY Presbiterian and Cornell. Also the The medical portal/ chart is a Plus to keep record and track my medical tests/ labs.

I called Dr Yu concerning what I considered a serious condition. I was seen promptly and very quickly was advised that it was not what I suspected (a family condition) but necessitated physical therapy. Dr Yu was very reassuring and I greatly appreciated my concerns being taken seriously.

Dr. Yu is caring, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. She is very responsive when there is an emergency situation and will always find the time to see her patient and take care of her needs. I cannot say enough about the quality of care I believe Dr. Yu possesses and I almost feel honored to be one of her patients. She is an excellent primary physician.
