List of Frank A. Petito's Reviews
Selfabsorbed
Dr. Petitio may be a good physician but, at least vis a vis me, he showed himself to be irresponsible and uncaring. I sought to make an appointment. I described my condition to his office; his office said it was necessary that he first speak with me by phone and that he would call me back in two days. He did not. I called his office again after c. 10 days. Nothing. It is now c. three weeks later. He has not deigned to call me. I'll move on and seek help elsewhere.
Dr.Petito is a thoroughly knowledgeable and caring Neurologist who will research all areas of medicine available to determine what is causing your health problem. His communication skills and follow-up with his patients are the best; his concern for his patient's well-being and freedom from pain is always top of mind. They don't come any better in the field of medicine.
If I could give Dr. Petito 1000 stars, I would happily do that as he is one of the best doctors I have ever been fortunate enough to have treating my migraines. He is so generous with his time, so careful to explain every detail of your treatment and diagnosis to you in a manner you will understand and follows up with his patients more than any doctor I have ever had in almost 7 decades of living. An incredibly knowledgeable, giving and caring doctor who I deeply respect and admire professionally. He also possesses a lovely personal manner. The best!
Dr. Petito is a “doctor’s doctor.” There is no comparison for his expertise, compassion & listening skills. Dr. Petito is humble & VERY wise; he is the best of the best.
One of those rare specialists who make ailments bearable! Dr. Petito has a unique gift for diagnosing neurological and secondary disorders, for thoroughly exploring every clinical possibility of treatment, and for having a wonderful, patient-friendly personality. He has been my doctor for many years, and I feel blessed to have had him recommended to me during a rare and difficult disease. I have always recommended him to those with neurological issues. He's the best!
Lovely, kind, thorough physician.
Dr. Frank Petito is a distinguished and superlative neurologist and a full professor at Weill Cornell Medical School. I have known him and been under his care for 40 years. I currently send my daughter and have in the past sent my mother and father to see Dr. Petito. He is thoughtful, patient, and extremely insightful. He has also been very helpful to a number of my own patients, whom I've sent to him for consultation. I have also come to rely on him for referrals to other physicians within the Weill Cornell network. In such situations, Dr. Petito's referral has made it possible to see other doctors who would not have been available to me otherwise. In summary, I feel very grateful to Dr. Petito and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone with any neurological concerns whatsoever. -Dr. James D. Sterling
Dr. Petito is attentive experienced and kind. His expertise is beyond excellent.
A disaster. Doesn't return calls. Unreachable. Smug and entitled. Stay away from.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
