Dr Valauri is awesomeHe explains everything very well at the consult, they make you very comfortable and prepare you properly for the procedure. His technical skill is amazing. Procedures and post op are easy and pretty much painless. Which is directly related to his ability as a surgeon. Their after care follow up was flawless. And the best part....... The result was spectacular.

My son has a split forehead. Dr. Frederick was really fast to arrive to ER, like 20 min, was really nice and tried his best to calm us ( even though I'm a doctor myself and don't need much explanation and was not in much distress). Get was really gentle and efficient and suturing everything in 5 min as it's extremely stressful for a 4 yo. Perfect sutures, nice and clean, great suturing technique! My travel insurance got in touch with the hospital and I had no issue with the payments.

I saw Dr. Valauri in the ER at Lenox Hill Hospital after an injury to my head, which required stitches. I cannot say enough good things about his professionalism, care, and bedside manner. Additionally, follow up at his office was simple and hassle-free - from both Ciara and Dr. Valauri. The entire experience eased the stress associated with my condition and left me feeling assured that I was in excellent care.

Although I didn't need surgery , Dr. Valauri was very kind and caring in helping me get through a traumatic experience with an injury to my finger. A finger that took less than 6 months to heal when it could have taken a year. Judy D.

Cannot speak to results but two days before hand surgery he asked me to write him a check for over $10k although my insurance provided him with an 'exception' that would directly reimburse his services. He may be a skilled surgeon but is as greedy and sketchy as they come. Wasted four months between poor office management (he finally got someone competent) then got insurance authorization, pre-surgical blood work done then boom! He decides to reveal his 'hand' at the 11th hour. So uncool!
