They tried to recruit a friend on to their board of advisors. They asked him to send his email address if he was interested in being considered for their board. When he received the email, instead of an advisor position it was called “Advisor/investor” position. There was a very short poorly written questionnaire, and the most important question seemed to be “Are you willing to give us money”. So- basically a bait and switch. Hard pass.

I would highly recommend this company! First and foremost, Fruit Street is a CDC-endorsed diabetes prevention program. It aims to help people to have an active and healthy lifestyle. Amid a pandemic, people nowadays seem to forget to be cautious about their overall health, but with the help of Fruit Street (which is very convenient since it is accessible online!), users are encouraged by the program to be more mindful of their risk of diabetes and also to achieve long-term improvements!
