I've now had two cataract operations with Dr. Koster, and both have gone perfectly. Dr. Koster is aware of my high sensitivity (read fear) about anything involving my eyes, and he answered my questions with patience and sensitivity over a long period of time...I delayed my surgery for over a decade. And when the time came to operate, Dr. Koster was as professional as could be, both in substance and in manner. The follow up has also been incredible, with a number of texts checking up on me even before my post-op office visit. Dr. Koster is really the best in the business, truly a superstar ophthalmologist. I count myself extremely lucky and thankful to have found him. Highest recommendation.Gary R.

I've been waiting 45 minutes to wait for my doctor, the nurse is incompetent and asking silly questions.... Maybe it's because I'm black and don't think I deserve good medical treatment like all the others here

Dr. Harry Koster is amazing.  He is the best ophthalmologist in the New YorkArea.  I had two cataract surgeries .... one is each eye.  My eyesight is fabulous.  I don't wear glasses any more to see distance and its a whole new world that has opened up to me because of Dr. Kosters experience.  I just went back to him to have my eyes checked and discovered I have dry eyes, which he resolved in one office visit.  He is always there for his patients and has a wonderful bedside manner.  He makes you feel so comfortable and worry free.  Whatever the problem, he can resolve.  He is so educated.  I highly recommend him.  Carole Rowland

If you've never had a positive experience in a medical office- I can relate and we can share nightmare stories but Dr Koster and his office are AMAZING!!! Whether running all the tests using all the latest technology or accommodating your busy schedule, you are treated with care and love! They actually ask you about your concerns and actually listen!!! Go get your eyes checked and get expert advise from actual professionals that care!!!

I was referred to this office for a "narrow angles" procedure on my eyes. I was told that it would be "covered" by my insurance. In fact, it was not and, even after I called their billing office to try to negotiate a lower price since I was paying out of pocket, they TOOK THE MONEY OUT OF THE CREDIT CARD without my permission. They also did surgery on the wrong eye, (though it was okay because I did, supposedly, need to do both eyes) -  -  - This procedure which could have been delayed and would have if I'd known it was actually not covered by my insurance - feels like a scam. They told me most of the patients are covered by medicare - it's a clean, attractive office with loads of very expensive-looking machines and a lot of people charging medicare a lot of money. I don't know how I could have found out about this insurance thing - but I can't believe they just took the full payment from me.

My experience getting LASIK surgery with Dr Koster was seamless and easy. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for LASIK surgery. Dr Koster is nice, thorough and comforting during the entire process.

The office is very clean and the staff are all friendly at NY Vision group. They are very efficient.  Dr. Koster was very concise and open to questions. Sherri was amazing with all of the help and assistance she provided to me. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. NY Vision group has been great through my lasik  journey.

I saw Dr. Koster and his team earlier this year for Lasik surgery. From the moment I walked in the door, the team was nothing but kind and welcoming. I was definitely nervous ahead of my surgery and the head nurse, Sherri, spent time with me to answer all of my questions and accommodate my allergy to the standard antibiotic they provide post-surgery.During the surgery, Dr. Koster was calm and explained everything thoroughly. Post surgery, he texted me directly to check in that night. The next day, he also texted me to check in and answer some of my questions. Would recommend Dr. Koster and his team to anybody considering Lasik.

I was recommended to Dr. Koster through a friend for Lasik surgery. When I arrived for my procedure I was treated amazing. The saff was incredible and very helpful with any questions I had. I have and will continue to recommended NY Vision Group to anyone I know! They are the best in the business!
