Excellent and caring doctor. He's got vast experience and does an excellent job.Support staff very nice to work with too.

Used to be great. Seems to have been bought by some larger group that has made it impossible to get through to anyone at the practice. Just trying to get a copy of a prescription is a trial -- although you do learn, as you wait endlessly on hold, that the new name of the practice is "Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island."

Very rude and unprofessional office staff..I feel sorry for people that cannot do better..

The staff that answers the phone and helps schedule appointments is SO SO rude. I was in extreme pain recently and they had no compassion for trying to squeeze me in for an appointment, instead offering something 24+ hours later. She was short with me and seemed annoyed I was asking for an appointment. My sister called back later that day after she came over and saw my condition and they just kept transferring her to voicemail, when she was only asking for a suggestion from the Dr on where to go for emergency eye care. I ended up at New York Eye & Ear infirmary that night.

Ever since the Lens Crafters on 1st Avenue in Stuy Town disappeared some years ago--and with it, apparently, the outstanding Dr. Sylvester--I've been casting around for a new eye doctor. For someone who values quality eye care, NY Vision Group is a true find. So far I've been mightily impressed with both Dr. Schneider and Dr. Pagano, as they collaborated with me and with each other to solve some knotty issues related to recent prismatic developments in my eyes. Add to this the super helpful front office staff and very competent technical assistants, and you can why this practice earns its many five-star reviews.

I've now had two cataract operations with Dr. Koster, and both have gone perfectly. Dr. Koster is aware of my high sensitivity (read fear) about anything involving my eyes, and he answered my questions with patience and sensitivity over a long period of time...I delayed my surgery for over a decade. And when the time came to operate, Dr. Koster was as professional as could be, both in substance and in manner. The follow up has also been incredible, with a number of texts checking up on me even before my post-op office visit. Dr. Koster is really the best in the business, truly a superstar ophthalmologist. I count myself extremely lucky and thankful to have found him. Highest recommendation.Gary R.

Dr. Harry Koster is amazing. He is the best ophthalmologist in the New YorkArea. I had two cataract surgeries .... one is each eye. My eyesight is fabulous. I don't wear glasses any more to see distance and its a whole new world that has opened up to me because of Dr. Kosters experience. I just went back to him to have my eyes checked and discovered I have dry eyes, which he resolved in one office visit. He is always there for his patients and has a wonderful bedside manner. He makes you feel so comfortable and worry free. Whatever the problem, he can resolve. He is so educated. I highly recommend him. Carole Rowland

If you've never had a positive experience in a medical office- I can relate and we can share nightmare stories but Dr Koster and his office are AMAZING!!! Whether running all the tests using all the latest technology or accommodating your busy schedule, you are treated with care and love! They actually ask you about your concerns and actually listen!!! Go get your eyes checked and get expert advise from actual professionals that care!!!

Doctors and staff are all wonderful. 20/20 vision is amazing!
