I saw Dr. Lowe for the first time this month. I told my adult daughters that she is a breath of fresh air! Her attentiveness, explanations and knowledge are exceptional. What a treat! I highly recommend Dr. Lowe.

Dr Lowe is not only a excellent physician but she takes the time to answer questions and discuss your condition with you. you can count on follow up from any tests taken. She is a great person.

The negative feedback is that while I think Dr. Lowe probably manages straightforward thyroid replacement well (for example if you convert T4 to T3 very well) her knowledge of treatment with T3 and the current research (ie. Dr. Antonio Bianco) is very limited and she told me that my Free T3 at the bottom or below the normal range is normal - which it is absolutely NOT healthy or normal. My LDL skyrocketed and my free cortisol went haywire as a result of the T4 only treatment she wanted me on that left me with very little Free T3. As a result I was on the floor unable to do hardly anything even walking from room to room was too much it was horrific and frightening. I also had to repeatedly question my labs over the course of a year before she recommended a parathyroid specialist. If you are a poor converter of T4 to T3 I would recommend looking for another doctor. The two stars are bc Dr. Lowe is a lovely person and she genuinely cares. She was also very generous with prescribing many different forms of T4 so that I could try them all to see how I felt to find the right one for me. She also got me to a better point than my previous endocrinologist (bc my previous endocrinologist had me HYPERthyroid) even though that “better” point was still horrifying with life threatening consequences.

Dr Lowe was wonderful. Friendly, professional, and most importantly, so knowledgeable. She explained everything in understandable terms and I left feeling confident with no unanswered questions. She followed up quickly with my lab results and Prescriprions. I highly recommend Dr. Lowe. Excellent health care!

Dr. Lowe is absolutely incredible! At my first appointment, she spent a significant amount of time and care thoroughly reviewing my medical history and lab work. She explained my condition and answered all of my many questions in palatable, succinct terms; never once making me feel rushed or hurried. I have the utmost confidence in her care and I trust that my condition will be monitored with experience and expertise.
