List of Ipa Manhattan Physical Therapy's Reviews
I've been working with Ally at IPA for almost a year now on fixing my postural issues. I can't express how warm, knowledgeable and dedicated therapist and teacher she is. Thank you!
Excellent physical therapy practice! I've been coming here for about a year, working with Patrick. He has helped me tremendously with complex issues including gait problems, breathing difficulties, and poor posture. Patrick combines advanced manual techniques with targeted exercises, and I've seen consistent improvement after each session. He holds in-depth skills across a variety of disciplines (sports PT, PRI, cranio-sacral therapy, internal organ motility, etc) and this has made a real difference. Patrick is not only technically excellent but also personable and makes each session positive. Highly recommend this practice, and especially working with Patrick!
After I blew out a 2nd disc in my lower back, working with Patrick at IPA has been the key to my recovery. I found Functional Manual Therapy to be very deep and sensitive work with fascia and connective tissue that has been amazing for reducing pain, and restoring mobility and even improving organ function, in a much more holistic way than usual physical therapy (which I've done tons of). Patrick would address whatever pain showed up next, not limiting his care to just what the doctor wrote on the Rx - and of course it's all connected. In addition, the exercises Patrick prescribed also felt more holistic - I could clearly feel how they engaged my hold body to move in better, stronger, more connected ways, not just the one body part I injured. The result is that I'm feeling the best I've felt overall in a very long time!
It turns out if you exercise relentlessly for a couple decades, eventually your body will turn on you. My sports doctor referred me to Patrick C. at IPA with the simple phrase, "Well, he's the guy I see, so I think he's pretty good." Mild understatement there, but I was so broken when I came to see Patrick that I just wanted to be able to sit again without excruciating pain. And I wanted to run again. And now I'm back to running and swimming and weights. I cannot recommend him - and the entire IPA team - highly enough. With the right physical therapist anything is possible, don't give up, go to IPA Manhattan.
I've been going to IPA for years now, as I have chronic neck issues. They are the BEST! Beautiful clean facility, easy appointments, great front desk staff and Patrick is the best physical therapist! highly recommend.
I had fallen on my wrist and while ti was not broken, it seemed jammed. Patrick dealt with my traumatized wrist and arm with great insight and very effectively, like magic! I
Great clinic. I am working with Ally. She cares, she listens, and she puts in the extra effort on my behalf. If you have a complex issue no one has been able to figure out, I suggest you see her.
Ally is awesome! She’s great and listens to what I have to say and what concerns I have and comes to all our sessions prepared and with new ideas for treatment. I’ve been seeing her as part of a broken ankle recovery and I doubt I’d progress nearly as quickly without her. Would highly highly recommend!
The absolute best.
Ally is an amazing physical therapist. She has helped me incredibly, often identifying places that need work that I couldn’t have figured out myself. She’s a very good listener and extremely knowledgeable about what treatments are best for your specific issue. Best PT!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
