Jeffrey Chan Acupuncture Clinic's Online Review Report Card

I hurt my lower back last week from lifting something heavy. While I was in chinatown looking for a chinese medicine spot and just happened to find this place. After an hour of acupuncture, the pain pretty much went away, it was way better. The doctor also noticed some issues with my neck and calf. I am pretty sure I will be all good after a week of herbs, might even be better before I finish them.

I am extremely happy I went to see Dr.Chan. The level of care I received from him was exceptional. He took his time and made sure he had a firm understanding of what was ailing me. His technique got rid of 80% of the pain I walked in with in just one session. On my second visit I then was treated by one of his associates , Dr.Lee, she too was phenomenal. She also made sure to do a thorough assessment and I can now say that I 95% better.

Dr. Chan and Dr. Lee are both fantastic clinicians. I felt a huge relief after both my sessions and will continue going regularly. Thank you!!

My dad has waist pains for many years. Recently, his waist pain worsened badly and even started to affect his walk. Dr. Chan figured out the root cause after careful diagnosis. He used acupuncture and auxiliary physical therapy to treat him. Right after the therapies, my dad no longer felt any pain in the waist area and could walk smoothly as usual. It is like a magic! Dr. Chan also prescribed Chinese herb medicine and taught my dad simple exercises to improve his conditions further. It has been several days since his treatment. My dad feels much better now. Thanks to Dr. Chan! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs physical therapy!

Came in to address my back pain and was able to make an appointment the same day via text. I saw Dr. Lee who was very attentive and made sure all the areas of pain were addressed. When I had some discomfort during the session, she quickly made adjustments and was able to address it. She even had Dr. Chan check on me afterwards to make sure everything was okay. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be back to address any future issues.

Dr. VJ is a great physical therapist. Very knowledgeable and effective at administering treatments.

I waited to write this review to be sure of my results. Dr. Chen and his staff were attentive and took my needs seriously. I had been living in severe pain for months. Prescribed muscle relaxer and ibuprofen were not managing it. It was depressing and impacted my day to day. After the session I was tired and wanted to give it time to see how I felt. I can say the treatment gave me a quality of life difference. Getting through my day is no longer a struggle. I am careful not to overdo it but am now able to stretch and add exercises. I won't say I am completely pain free due to a previous condition, but you can't even compare the level and it is infrequent vs all day everyday. I am so happy I went and would recommend it to anyone interested.

I used to come here, often. It certainly works, but it is expensive and you will have an uncertain assistant doing the needles most of the time. Then Dr. Chan came in one time and SHOOK my wrist around, with a needle deeply inside, parallel to my arm! To show me “what not to do.” It resulted in hitting a nerve immediately, severe pain and the needle ejected itself from my wrist, I was crying from the pain. I was never going to move my wrist around like that with a needle so deep in my arm. I had ongoing nerve pain from it for a long time. I was terrified of acupuncture for years until I finally went to a different acupuncturist, Dr. Cheung, also on E broadway. It is legit and not scary there.

Dr. Chan helped me with my foot pain / swelling and period pain. Best care - can't recommend enough!

My mother in law had jaw problem and couldn't eat anything hard as it hurt so much when chewing. Dr. Chan immediately identified the problem and treated her with acupuncture. Right after the therapy, she could chew with little pain. Dr. Chan is a very experienced and skillful acupuncturist. Highly recommend!
