Dr. Bruce saved my relatives life. He cured him and now he is getting engaged. Dr. Jeffrey Bruce freed him from brain cancer with his state of the art care. He is clearly a super gifted neurosurgeon plus he is kind, caring and professional. I highly recommend him!!! My family is finally at peace due to his amazing intervention, surgery and post operative care!

My mom had brain surgery with Dr. Bruce. He seemed knowledgeable but condescending, and never really answered any of our questions clearly. I had recently found out I had a rare pineal tumor. After searching for a surgeon who specializes in this, I found Dr. Bruce. After speaking to him, I knew I was in the right hands. His confidence and expertise were unmatchable. I am 9 days post pineal resection and I am feeling pretty well and he was able to get the whole tumor!! I would not recommend anyone else for a complex surgery like this! Truly amazing! His team was also amazing!

A compassionate and empathetic surgeon. He did the job where other top neurosurgical institutions (Johns Hopkins University and Barrow Neurological institute) had failed to successful treat. His admin staff (Eileen and Harolyn) were also top notch, and went above and beyond to help get me through the entire process from the initial consultation, to surgery, and post op planning/scheduling.

As head of Brain Tumor Center at Columbia Presbyterian, Dr. Jeffrey Bruce is far and away the best surgeon we've ever experienced. 100% sure, Dr. Bruce prevented my mother from going blind. For brain tumors, go nowhere else. He brings everthing to the table that you'd want in a surgeon --- cutting edge research, decades of surgical experience, suberb medical record and recommendations. But he brings something else that you might not expect in a surgeon --- real compassion, bedside manner, and a wholistic view to make the right decision, whether that is surgery or not. No wonder he is ranked one of America's top doctor's by Castle Connolly and New Yorker. Only one issue, he is a lousy surfer...

I consider myself extremely fortunate and will be forever grateful to have had Dr. Jeffrey Bruce as my neurosurgeon for my procedure this November and for the excellent outcome I experienced due to his skill and expertise. Dr. Bruce and his team inspired confidence and trust throughout the process of preparing for and undergoing brain surgery which was seamless and the gold standard for a truly patient-focused medical model of intervention. Special thanks to Aileen, the 8th floor staff and Patient Services at NYP/CUIMC who all provided support from initial intake to discharge. My experience with Dr. Bruce, his team, and NYP/CUIMC exceeded any and all expectation and it was my good fortune to have had the highest level of professionalism and medical expertise available to me at a time when I needed it most.

Dr. Bruce is an extraordinary surgeon, and has a wonderful manner - friendly, but to the point. He put me at ease, and did a wonderful job on the surgery. I cannot recommend him and his fantastic team, highly enough. Truly the best there is! THANK YOU!!
