As always, Dr. Nam was incredibly helpful and, no pun intended, patient with my son. The support staff at the W 72nd Office were all extremely kind, helpful, and efficient. I would recommend anyone in the NYC area with pediatric needs to immediately book an appointment, as the secret is out and you may wait a month.

Oh My Goodness! I can see! Dr. Nam ROCKS! I am 72 and found myself having double vision at distance. I went to two ophthalmologists and neither one could help me. I got a referral to Dr. Nam and she diagnosed me as having strabismus within 5 minutes. I knew I was with a consummate professional and after a short time testing me and trying different prisms the double vision was gone. That's not the best part. She explained every little nuance of prism lenses; how to test first with appliqués and gauge adaptation before ordering lenses and providing guidance on ordering lenses from reputable labs. it is so gratifying to find a doctor who really digs deep to get the right solution. I live in NJ and had to travel to NYC but it was totally worth it. The office is beautiful and the staff was excellent in every respect. Don't even think about going anywhere else.

At 72 years of age, I did not expect to experience an issue common to small children. I went to my regular ophthalmologist complaining of double vision. He had the good sense to refer me to Dr. Nam. I have strabismus. This is a condition wherein each eye points in a somewhat different direction resulting in double vision. Often called sleepy eye it is most common in small children and is usually correctable. Dr. Nam diagnosed me in less than 5 minutes. She tried different strengths of prism appliques on my existing lenses and in a matter of minutes, my condition disappeared. After receiving new lenses my 20/20 vision has been completely restored and I can even drive comfortably at night. The follow-up letter she sent to my ophthalmologist and my regular doctor was incredibly detailed and provided the benchmark for my future care. I am beyond thrilled with the results.
