I met Dr. Garcia-Aguilar in 2013. I was diagnosed with stage 3B cancer. I went through the chemo/radiation treatment followed up with surgery. I wasn't happy to have the required surgery. However, the surgery went well and I'm happy to say that everything Dr. Garcia-Aguilar did has been successful and 9 years after surgery all is still good! Thank you Dr. Garcia-Aguilar.

In middle of covid July 2020 my mom had been diagnosed with colon cancer. He is the perfect example of everything a surgeon should be. Not only is he compassionate caring knowledgeable patient calm but he is a beautiful soul. Mom is cancer free and recovered quickly ( for her age) thanks to Dr Aguilar. No need to think or look further there is no one better in his field. He surrounds himself with the best staff as well and the hospital is unparalleled just like the surgeon. Thank you is not enough , I have my mom back. We owe you everything!!!!!!

If you are ever in the position to hear you have colon cancer and need colorectal surgery, Dr. Garcia is your guy. In the middle of COVID in the heart of NYC, he saved my fathers life removing a 11cm mass with no stoma bag. He is worth the wait, if you can wait, cannot recommend him enough. Thank you Dr., for giving us our father back better than we gave him to you.

Dr. Garcia-Aguilar is an excellent surgeon in terms of both skills and work ethnics. He does what the general colorectal surgeons could not do. Last December, the doctors at Mount Sinai told us that my father's disease has been worsen and there's nothing else they can do. On the other end, Dr. Garcia is able to take out my father's tumor. If you're looking for a cure, Dr. Garcia is your best bet!

Two other surgeons told me I’d be wearing a stoma bag for life. Thanks to this talented man, I’m three years out of my surgery for colorectal cancer with no bag. He left me just enough of my colon! I can’t recommend Dr. Garcia enough.

Dr.garcia is the top guy you want for any colorectal surgery..we were very very happy with him and his staff.. he is definitely one of the best in this field. He saved my life and mny others.

Dr Aguilar is an absolute fabulous surgeon. His professionalism and bedside manner are second to none. When I was diagnosed with Appendix Cancer I was a total mess , as anyone can imagine hearing you have Cancer is devastating . Meeting Dr. Aguilar for the first time put my family & myself at ease instantly , I actually felt that everything would be alright. His credentials speak for themselves , he is a fabulous surgeon. His staff is wonderful and always willing to help out with any question.
