Dr. Wu is amazing. She has been with my son since he was born, in May 2021. He has a severely compromised airway due to being born with a lymphatic malformation. Dr. Wu has treated him every step of the way and has been so incredibly informative and pleasant, with open communication and speedy responsiveness. My son has had two debulking surgeries by the age of 15 months and she was the surgeon for both. Her work is wonderful and I felt very confident that she would always do her best for him. She is super nice and funny and all around awesome.

I was introduced to Dr. Wu in 2020 by my orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lawrence Lenke. I contracted a wound infection after my spinal fusion and Dr. Lenke called Dr. Wu to help address the wound infection. She has great bedside manners, respectful and makes you feel at ease. When I left NY she referred to a plastic surgeon at GW hospital in Washington, D.C. I know her specialty is pediatrics but she is ver knowledgeable, competent and professional.

Dr. Wu saw our 2 y.o. (at the time) daughter to give a second opinion on the AVM she was born with on the side of her head. She had gone through 7 surgeries already and although she was being treated at a highly regarded hospital for the rare disease, we were lucky to meet Dr. Wu. She was excellent with our daughter in the room, and made sure to talk about every possible best and worst case scenario (waiting for our daughter’s grandmother to take her for a walk before discussing the worst case). She didn’t sugar coat anything, but when you’re dealing with a disease that has so much uncertainty, as a parent, you should not want anything sugar coated. She might not always tell you what you want to hear, but she tells you what you NEED to hear to make the best decision for your child’s future. We got a lot of extremely important information for our Daughter’s short & long term health from Dr. Wu and I would recommend her to any family requiring her services.

My husband and I were very pleased with the amazing care we received from Dr. Wu (removal of hemangioma from the right shoulder of our daughter, K). Dr. Wu had a fantastic bedside manner when it came to interacting with our 3 year old little girl and made my husband and me feel at easy by clearly explaining her surgical techniques, the nature of the procedure, and the recovery process. We are very grateful we found this physician; my daughter’s shoulder looks fantastic and she experienced virtually no pain after the surgery. We highly recommend Dr. Wu to any parent or future patients looking for an outstanding plastic surgeon. Thank you Dr. Wu!!!

Amazing surgeon. May come off as rude, as I understand why many people reviewing her are stating this, but she only wants the absolute BEST for her patients. As far as her surgical skills, she will stop at no expense to give the patient not only the results they deserve, but also what she promised she would deliver. Had maybe 3-4 office visits with her in the year leading up to my surgery, to discuss various factors, and even though I absolutely love her there were times I was afraid to ask questions because I was afraid of the answer I would receive. I got my surgery with her on August 3, 2017. She performed debulking surgery on me. If there's one thing I can't say enough for the day of my surgery, Dr. Wu was absolutely and nothing short of thorough in briefing me and my parents on the surgery, 45 minutes before I was walked to the OR. She even scared me a little! The stitches I got ended up going very far up into a sensitive area I was not expecting them to be in which is the thing I am most uncomfortable with. However, the placement of the stitches, length of the incision line and having to keep my suegerical drain in about a week and a half after the day of my surgery is nothing compared to the results I received. If you're looking for a reconstructive surgeon who deliveres amazing results no matter what, Dr. Wu is the way to go. Personally, from my own experience, Dr, Wu is very nice and welcoming. However, if you are worried about her being rude, just know it is solely because she only wants the very very best for all her patients.

Dr. Wu is very arrogant, and rude, and full of herself. A little compassion would go a long way. She seems quick in her manner and intolerant of of her staff. I would not recommend her.

Brought our daughter in for a procedure resulting in 4 corrective surgeries which needed to be performed by another surgeon. Dr Wu is so full of her self and had no empathy at all for what our daughter was dealing with.
