Karim Masrouha's Online Review Report Card

Great, compassionate doctor and seamless process I took my 20 month old daughter to Dr Masrouha as per the guidance from her primary doctor as she had fallen and her wrist seemed swollen. We were able to get an appointment easily at short notice, get an xray at the practice, see the dr and get the brace on all at the same place. The whole process was very convenient as I didn't need to go from place to place. I was stressed as it turned out my daughter had broken 2 bones. The Dr was very compassionate yet knowledgeable and calmed me down by providing me options to remedy based on her situation. Mum guilt is a real thing but the Dr helped ease my concerns, within 24hrs she was back to using her hand and was no longer in pain. Highly recommend the Dr and the practice!

Highly recommended orthopedic surgeon I am a physician at the same institution and we sought out Dr. Masrouha for my son due to his expertise in pediatric and oncologic orthopedics. My son has MHE and needed elective exostosis surgery. Dr. Masrouha came highly recommended by several of my colleagues. He is an amazing clinician, caring person and skilled surgeon. We felt like we were in the best hands! The surgery went well and my son fully recovered. Highly recommend Dr. Masrouha, especially for MHE, a rare condition.

Gem of a doctor Dr Masrouha is a gem of a doctor and surgeon. He operated on my forearm recently to great success.What stands out to me about Dr Masrouha is not only his expertise in medicine but his humanity as an individual.He is genuinely sincere, caring, informative and honest. Right arm cyst I had a cyst on my right harm and after few dr visits ( even overseas) no one was able to do anything.My pcp sent me to Dr. Masrouha and tks to him I am a free of pain now after a succeeded surgery done by him.Tks again Dr. Masrouha.

Excellent Doctor! My husband went to Dr Masrouha for his lipoma on his fore arm he went too four different doctors before Dr Masrouha but He was the best. He did surgery and his hand is recovered beautifully. his bedside manner was also the best made you feel safe and that your in good hands! He was very kind and answered every question and concern we had! Highly recommend him!

Excellent Doctor It's been almost a year since I had ankle fusion with dr. Masrouha and I am feeling great. He really helped go through the process of surgery and recovery. Since the surgery I have better balance and can walk without having any ankle pain or swelling.

Unhappy My son broke his wrist about 3 years ago and was operated by dr Masroucha at NYU in Manhattan. After surgery my son was wearing cast for 3 months and had regular checkups , when it was finally removed it looked like the bone shifted and hand looked deformed. Although this dr had great bedside manners at the end the result was horrific and my son needed a second surgery. I could no longer trust this doctor. I am unsure if he was very inexperienced then but thankfully I found another surgeon at HSS who performed second corrective surgery with a success, I am honesty very surprised by all the positive reviews maybe he had learned from our experience or gained enough work experience but this whole experience was very troubling.

Amazing surgeon and friendly doctor Dr. Masrouha removed a very difficult and large lipoma from my leg. Other doctors dismissed my pain, but he understood my situation, explained very well my options and together we made a plan for the surgery we both agreed on. He explained very well all the risks, the the whole case. His communication skills are great, you don't feel afraid even though he's using medical terms. I felt safe and prepared having the procedure with him and his team. Everyone was very nice and took great care of me pre and post op. The results from the surgery show how great was the job he made. I did not loose movement of my foot, what every other doctor said would happen. I'm very grateful for Dr. Masrouha's patience and good job. I am definitely recommending him to all my family and friends.

wrist sprain for 10 year old boy My son (10 years old) visited Dr. Masrouha at NYU Langone on 17th street. With a smile and attentiveness, he diagnosed my son's wrist (basketball injury) and answered all our questions and concerns with utmost sincerity. The appointments were thorough and not rushed. I will definitely keep his contact info for future issues - as both my sons are active basketball, skateboarding and judo. We will be in his office soon again.

Caring doctor Dr Masrouha is one of the most compassionate doctors I’ve ever met. Truly he’s the gold star of what physicians should be today.
