Dr. Burris is friendly and efficient and most of all competent. I had a basal cell carcinoma on my face that I had not even noticed. My husband and I have been patients of Columbia doctors for years and we have been extremely happy. We had a prior experience with a different practice upstate NY when my husband had prostrate cancer. The doctor was so callous we immediately looked for a new practice and started going to Columbia Presbyterian for all our specialists. It is worth the 100 mile drive. Thank you!!

Dr. Burris is kind and compassionate. She gave a very thorough exam and had a very soft touch when she had to remove something. It was a pleasure that she didn't try and sell me botox or other types of shots! It was an extremely professional visit.

Dr. Burris has the rare gift of being at the top of her game as a clinician and at the top of the league in terms of patient empathy. My problem is complex but she put me at my ease immediately.She even made the needed biopsy painless, and explained everything to make sure I understood beforehand what to expect. I highly recommend her.

My initial visit was good; she accurately diagnosed my condition before it was confirmed by pathology and the office is beautiful. Unfortunately, the office seems understaffed and overly dependent on one surgeon, who had to cancel my consultation and was unable to reschedule before I left town. And, worse, despite 4 calls to the office requesting that Dr. Burris contact me to talk about my options, I never heard back from her. Office staff was encouraging, and said, "she's with a patient, she'll get back to you between patients." I waited by my phone. She never did. Actually some of the worst care I have ever received from a doctor. And, of course, my records have not been received by my new doctor.
