Dr. LaScalea is timely and caring. During my last annual physical, nearly at the same time as the nurse had left, and I put on my examination gown, in he popped. From then on, he gave me his attention not only undivided, but also unrushed; in full he heard out my concerns over my mental health, even as he was apologizing that he could stay for only so long on only one day of the year. Afterwards, Dr. LaScalea handed me an evaluation form for mental health; again, as soon as I finished, he's there: and also offering thoughtful advice on my situation! Finally, on my way out of the practice, he steps out of his office to say goodbye. But his timeliness and care ends yet not there: Within less than twenty-four hours of when the results from my blood tests had been posted, he wrote his comments, addressing each and every value of clinical significance.

Dr.Lascalea has been my physician since 1999. His patient demeanor is kind, firm and professional. During good times as well as health emergencies, Dr. Lascalea has been pro active. His careful follow - up procedures have resulted in my family and I, sustaining good health, as we continue with advancing age. Dr Lascalea has been in front of the obstacles I have encountered personally and his patience, energy and focus on treatment has resulted in my continued good health at the age of 81. NYP has a dedicated, skilled physician on its staff and, in my opinion. I have been a patient at NYP hospital since the early1970’s.

Dr. Lascalea is a fantastic provider, great bedside manner, very intelligent and clearly cares a lot about his patients and goes above and beyond to emphasize preventative care, while also being a very astute clinician who is up to date on all the current medical recommendations and treatments.

Dr LaScalea puts the patient first. He goes over test results with the patient as soon as results are available. The entire experience at Weill Cornell Medical Associates is excellent: wait time, pleasant staff, excellent care.
