List of Lawrence J. Siegel's Reviews
I've had only 2 appointments with Dr. Siegel so far, whose professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and compassionate demeanor all made extremely favorable impressions. Moreover, he responds to my written inquiries with admirable speed and thoroughness. Ordinarily, I wouldn't review a doctor so early in our acquaintance. But a one-star Google review nearly led me astray, so an early review correcting the record seems appropriate here. On close inspection, the one star turns out to be based on a single phone call with a single member of the clerical staff. From the website for Weill Cornell's Center for Special Studies, it appears the clinic employs over 100 people. Why should Dr. Siegel be held responsible for the conduct of a random phone operator? The reviewer even acknowledges that she never met the doctor. Patients searching for good doctors are the ones most harmed by thoughtless and misleading reviews. We all have an obligation to each other to put some thought and care into what we write, especially reviews on professionals whom we rely on for our health.
Lady who answers??? the phone is mean, sarcastic and ill intentioned. She refuses to do her job, puts you on hold and then hungs up on you and it's just a bad professional. I don't know the doctor, but the staff should be more careful how they treat people.
I've been with Dr. Siegel for the past few years. He's warm, kind, and very easy to talk too. I enjoy my sessions with him because he listens to my concerns and issues, and presents affirmative solutions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
