Ling Spa Union Square's Online Review Report Card

Clean, beautiful spa; knowledgeable staff. I received the Rejuran injections with NO PAIN!!! Highly recommend

My 17-year-old son recently visited LING Spa Union Square after booking what he believed was a skincare consultation for acne treatment. He is a student and was under the impression that he would be seeing a medical professional to assess and guide him on his condition. Upon arrival, he discovered that the appointment was actually scheduled as a facial treatment — not a medical consultation. Because he is currently following a prescribed skincare routine and his skin is irritated, he responsibly informed the staff that he could not proceed with a facial. Instead of showing understanding, the spa refused to cancel and insisted on charging a $150 cancellation fee. What made the situation worse was that they had already attempted to charge his card before he even arrived. When they tried charging it again on site, his card was flagged and temporarily suspended. He was then told they would involve the authorities if payment was not made. This left a 17-year-old student alone, frightened, and forced to call his mother overseas to urgently transfer money just to resolve the situation. Regardless of policies, there is a basic level of discretion and humanity expected when dealing with a minor who clearly misunderstood the type of appointment booked. The way this was handled was unnecessarily aggressive and deeply distressing. I strongly urge management to review how they handle young clients and cancellation misunderstandings. This experience was unacceptable.

I have never left a Google review before, but it is worth expressing my gratitude after my experience at LING Spa (Union Square). Every interaction felt genuine, and the personnel were incredibly welcoming beginning with Cassandra at the reception desk to Jaqueline walking me through my skin analysis. She was very honest about her recommendations and great at explaining the different results. Heesun was absolutely wonderful during the treatment. Very thorough on what was going to be done and communicated efficiently throughout the process. She was very knowledgeable and clear on post treatment actions and gave me honest feedback on treatment options going forward for my skin. Nothing ever felt pressured, pushed or forced unlike other clinics. Highly recommend, not a single negative interaction. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Facial was amazing ! Skin was flawless after! Diff coming more often , they have there own skincare products as well!!

I got the Ling Facial and it was great! I appreciate the complimentary skin analysis prior to the service. They took a lot of time to explain everything to me and provided skin care recommendations without being pushy about selling their products. The lady who did my actual facial was very knowledgeable and attentive to my skin concerns. Will definitely be back!

Always an amazing experience at Ling spa! I got a facial with Michiko, and people kept complimenting how glowy and refreshed my skin looked for days. Extractions are usually my least favorite part of any facial, but she was so gentle and thorough, and best of all, no scarring! (Which I’ve unfortunately dealt with at other places.) I also love all of my injectables with Heesun NP. She has a great eye for detail and is so thorough. But what I really appreciate is her honesty! She’s never afraid to tell me no when something isn’t in my best interest, so I feel confident that she’s truly looking out for me. I feel like I’m in the best hands here and couldn’t be happier with my results!
