My experience with Dr. Wiechmann was beyond my belief. She was incredible in making sure I was clearly informed about my health and care. Most importantly her friendly nature made sure I was at ease and calm through breast cancer prevention surgery. The recover post surgery was quick and without complications and the incision site is almost invisibile. l was truly lucky to have had such an amazing surgeon, if the need ever came up I would, without a doubt, go to Dr. Wiechmann.

If you are seeking intelligent, warm, caring and direct advice from a female doctor for your breast health, I strongly recommend Breast Surgeon Dr. Lisa Wiechmann of Columbia Doctors. From my initial consultation, I was quite impressed with her specific knowledge and genuinely caring approach. She fully addressed and answered all of my questions. Her upbeat, highly professional manner and staff - in spotless, comfortable, extremely safe and convenient midtown Manhattan offices - exuded the warmth and confidence I needed to proceed. With calm reassurance, I underwent Excisional Breast Biopsies at the impeccable new David Koch Center of New York Presbyterian Hospital in mid-December 2020. Even in this fearful time of COVID, I felt extremely safe in this fantastic, sparkling 21st century hospital setting. (You are given a private room with extras, reminiscent of a luxury hotel!) My result and experience with Dr. Wiechmann was definitely five-star. I recommend her without reservation.
