Despite coming for suspected hyperhidrosis of hands and feet he did not even take a look at them. He glanced a the clock as I was asking him questions and condescendingly gave me answers even though I am dealing with something disrupting my life. He seemed much more concerned with getting me out the door than listening to my questions. I was so excited to speak to a specialist but he gave me nothing to work with that I couldnt find out online. Overall rude and not worth the money I paid out of pocket.

Saw Dr. Gorenstein after another surgeon suggested cracking the chest for surgery, he was absolutely appalled and explained a better, minimally invasive process. As a 20 year old female, this was the best news. He made my family and I feel confident in his skill, comfortable, and was beyond professional and kind. With a mass between the lung and heart, he made me feel so safe and did a phenomenal job, and healing went perfectly with no complications.

Great dr, but why is it necessary to fill out All that paperwork every first visit of a calendar year? Can’t we just look at our old paperwork and circle and change, in red ink, all of the changes from the previous year? Why do we have to write down all of our info again, for 45 minutes, when they already have that info.? It’s a waste of time!!!

He seriously did not know what he was talking about and when asked for suggestion on my next steps he shrugged his shoulders and told me, “I can’t help you”. With a smile on his face!!!!!!

Dr. Gorenstein I am very surprised to find any bad reviews for Dr. Gorenstein He came highly recommended to me by my pulmonologist. Based on that and his impressive credentials I went to see him. I found Dr. Gorentsein to be extremely professional, caring and informative. I Felt that I got the best possible treatment and very possibly owe my life to the Doctor Gorenstein! I had a been diagnosed with lung cancer in the left lobe of the lung Doctor Gorenstein took his time and explaining everything to me as well as the surgical procedure, which was a 3 and ½ hour operation. Dr. Gorenstein treated me as if I was his own family. He addressed all health-related concerns with me, as well as my lifestyle and provided me with recommendations for other services that he felt I needed. The aftercare and follow up with Dr. Gorenstein and staff have been top notch. All pathology tests, including the testing of nodes, have come back negative, and until now, I have not required further treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Lyall Gorenstein. -Tommy D
