I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Meyer. He took time to understand my situation and even chatted about life and work, which made me feel like I was visiting a college professor that I once knew. In other words, I never felt rushed and he seems genuinely interested in getting to know me and helping with my issues.

Dr. Meyer was fine, but I had a few issues with booking, and didn't like how the receptionists would usually finish watching video on their phones before checking me in. The final straw was when they cancelled my appointment without telling me. I confirmed via email the day before, then took a half day off from work. Upon showing up, the receptionist told me Dr. Meyer was on vacation, so I'd have to reschedule. I showed her the confirmation email from the day before. She became very aggressive, telling me that those are automatic and can't be helped, but she tried calling me to cancel. I asked when she called, she couldn't tell me. I never had a missed call or a voicemail from them. On top of that, no apology, it was my fault somehow. I had to decide if Dr. Meyer was worth putting up with a lazy and combative staff, and decided he was just OK, so I might as well switch to an office with a better team. The irony - I just received an email from them stating "When appointments are cancelled without sufficient notice, that time cannot easily be filled, and the financial impact on our small, high-attention practice is significant. After careful consideration, we are establishing a formal cancellation fee structure." They are now charging $300-$500 for a cancelled appointment. Can I get that check please?

I am really happy I was referred to Dr. Meyer. He is a great, very straightforward doctor who loves what he does. His experience and expertise put me at ease with my chronic high blood pressure condition which is now under control along with my high cholesterol
