Outstanding breast cancer reconstruction doctor. Dr Harmaty is deeply compassionate, patient, and an artful surgeon in helping women reconstruct what breast cancer surgery had to cut away. Do your own research & bring your suggestion/concerns to this doctor. He will listen and he is a great collaborator with his patients as they heal through the breast cancer journey.

He is my surgeon for repair of incisional hernia post-transplant. Excellent surgeon, very clear explanation of what to expect. Beautiful work.

Dr. Harmaty put my mind at ease with my breast reduction surgery as he is genuinely concerned about doing what is best for the patient. He guided me through the process and made sure I was comfortable with the decisions on how to proceed. He did great work, followed up right after surgery to make sure I was OK and I cannot say enough good things about his bedside manner and wealth of knowledge. I Highly recommend him if you're looking for any sort of plastic or reconstructive surgery!!

Dr. Harmaty operated on me for multiple incisional hernias on 4/15/21. He really did a superb job of removing an old, ugly scar and fixing other problems I had from a previous surgery by another doctor at another hospital. He has a warm and supportive manner, is absolutely professional, and checked in with me several times post-surgically. I recommend him as an outstanding surgeon with an impressive manner.

Dr Harmaty is amazing! He's knowledgeable, confident, great bedside manners and takes his time to explain everything. I had a breast reduction with him in preparation for mastectomy which he will also be performing. I cant say enough great things! He is amazing!

I love love Dr Harmaty I never have in my life a doctor like him, very professional, he knows what’s he’s doing, he calls me the next day after my surgery and check on me every now and then. I highly recommend him and the staff is on point.

This doctor doesn’t have the expertise to perform the surgery he claims in his online bio he performs regularly. I contacted him to make an appointment based on it. He knew in advance what surgery I sought but waited until the consult to admit that the breast implants he inserts invariably slip out of place. You’d think he’d bother to research the technique since he alleges he performs it regularly. There are other surgeons in the same location he could ask. He did make the effort to have a billing staffer provide a surgical estimate before any details were pinned down, yet didn’t speak to removing the capsule that forms around implants, if he does, and mine contain leaked silicone. This was a revision of ruptured implants. His patients don’t know what scars or risks to expect. When I asked specific questions, he didn’t answer but conceded that only rarely has he done augmentation and implant exchange so shouldn’t do the surgery. Big mistake to choose him. He never corrected his bio!
