Dr. Kurian is a very rare find - my journey with her has been a life-changing and joyful experience. She took me through my sleeve surgery several years ago and this year helped me get to a new goal using a GLP medication. The results have exceeded any of my expectations. She is patient, thoughtful, thorough, empowering and kind. Everyone in her office is extremely competent, helpful and responsive.

Unfortunately this doctor made judgment mistake at the time of the surgery, she didn’t explain at all all the possible complications of my complicated surgery and possibly outcomes.My mistake is not knowing the grade of difficulty of my surgery and also have not figured to ask possible complications and possible outcomes.

I have no idea how this doctor has any good reviews. She rushed in and out after I waited 45 minutes, complained about having to work that day, and she was extremely abrupt. I will be going to someone reputable and professional instead.

Easily 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Dr. Marina S. Kurian is an exceptional professional. Two years ago she performed surgery on me. She was accessible, comforting, reassuring, accommodating, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and never condescending or dismissive of my concerns or questions that certain YouTube videos moved me to ask her. I'm so glad that my primary doctor recommended her to me. He told me she was the best and I wholeheartedly agree. Her surgical team is also top of the line! She also has an amazing, professional, and wonderful supporting staff at her Manhattan location. Thank you all! Thank you Dr. Kurian! 🙂

ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I went see Dr. Kurian for a routine hernia repair, but was very nervous as it was my first experience with major surgery. Not only did she make herself available for last minute changes to my schedule but she put me at ease right away with her professionalism and level of experience. The surgery could not have gone smoother and I would recommend her to anyone for general surgery or to pursue something in her area of expertise. She is the best!

Dr Kurian is a very skilled, caring and kind physician. She explained everything that was going to happen during the procedure from beginning to end. She made sure I understood everything and answered all of my questions before and after surgery. Her staff is knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. I had gastric bypass in June and I have lost 80 lbs in 6 months. I am off all the diabetic medications and the medication for high blood pressure. She is the best!! Thank you Dr. Kurian for the wonderful care and support you provide and for giving me the tools to live a healthy life.

Made one visit to this doctor. Do not recommend. More interested in invoicing the payment than delivering patient care.

Has previous surgery and going for another procedure to assist with weight loss.

Got the surgery and exactly 2 years and 3 months later (when my insurance company shows no information) they send me a collections notice for anesthesia. I called the office to get more information and they said I owe it-I ask why wouldn’t you contact me sooner after the surgery if I legitimately owe it? And they lied and said they did. This office is a trashy scummy den with lowlives that feed on you years after your surgery to rustle up rent money for their office space. After hours they have a janky nurse practitioner that administers super diluted facial fillers and Botox illegally. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to get scammed out of money years later after your surgery.
